I wanted Doncic and JJJ was #3 for me. Jackson isn't having the impact I thought he would have, and I've very surprised at his early shooting trouble. Once his shot starts falling, and he learns when to stay on his feet, he'll be fine.

How about Bagley and Bamba's FT%?

Young is still what he was in college, which is better than a lot of people thought he would be.
Bamba's FT% doesn't bother me yet, since he only gets to take 1 a game. Bagley's is a little more concerning, considering he gets to the line a ton.

Bagley is shooting 55% from 3. He's in a tough position because he was drafted between Ayton and Doncic, but he's been good. He's hitting 3's and blocking shots early on, which were two big question marks on him.

I want to clarify, since I think my other posts gave the wrong impression: I am not upset that we took Ayton, and I don't regret it and wish we had Doncic instead. I just can't help but also be envious of how good Doncic looks. Ideally we would have somehow gotten both :), but that is not possible. I am rooting for both Doncic and Ayton to have great seasons.

I still can’t believe we called Heads.

I didn't vote (I was 5) but I'm a heads guy so I wouldn't have been any help. Tails? Pfft.

You know that if the Suns would have picked Heads, he wouldn't have turned the coin over onto the back of his hand. The only way this would have worked out, was if they did it like they do before football games and let it fall onto the ground.

It seems players are starting to realize it takes them being jerks to get what they want. Simply asking for a trade does nothing. Guys like Kyrie, PG-13, Butler, etc. Have had to make their demands public. We've seen it to with Markieff, dragic, and Bledsoe all having to say not so nice things to get traded.

I'm kinda hoping he struggles so Memphis would entertain moving him. I'm holding out hope that we could get him for taking on Parsons's contract.

He really turned back the clock and put the team on his back with Butler and Teague out. He almost singlehandedly won the game. He was very emotional after the game.

"I got two years to '20-21. I'm here and whatever happens after that happens," Davis told ESPN's The Undefeated. "For me, right now it is about being the most dominant player in the league and helping this team win.

"You hear all the rumors. You hear all the talk. But it's not coming from me. I'm here to be a Pelican, help this team move forward and help this team win a championship."
In other words, the Pels better deal him before the 2020 trade deadline. I'd move him just before/during the next draft if I were Dell Demps. AD could command at least 3 first rounders and a young high lottery player.
