Game Day: Grizzlies (5-2) @ Suns (1-7), Sun 11/4/18

Post by Superbone »

Time: 6:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The Memphis Grizzlies are riding a 3 game winning streak into Phoenix in an early evening start time. Don't forget the time change, you non-Arizonans. I just hope to see more of the positive trends we started seeing Friday night.

Go Suns!!!

I think we can get this one. The Grizzlies crushed us recently without Booker and they play the Warriors tomorrow.

I have had a looooong week at work, including staying at the office until 11:30pm Thursday, and going in both yesterday and today (Sat-Sun). I'm hoping the Suns can give me a nice reward tonight with a win, or at least a competitive game where they play the right way. The Grizz are much better so far than I had expected. Waiting to see if it's for real or just a flash in the pan. I still kind of look at their roster and don't see a top team in the West. But it's interesting to watch Jackson Jr find his way on a team with strong veteran leadership like Memphis.

I'm predicting a win tonight although the Grizzlies are no slouch with a healthy Conley and Gasol.

I’m also predicting a win tonight. I don’t know which team will get it, but there will definitely be a win.

2 straight walks by Ayton to start. I thought one was questionable, but not sure.

I love how much Ayton plays away from the basket offensively. We need more of it. As far away as possible.

Ryan Anderson should be benched every time he shoots that dumb midrange fade away.

Well, it's not looking so good so far. Down 28-21 after giving up a 3 at the buzzer. Too many dumb turnovers.

The turnovers are concerning. Grizz on a 10-2 run.

Missed the first half. Checking the box and seeing we are only down 4 is ok. Ayton with 2 shot attempts 5 assists, and 5 turnovers? PG problem solved. 2 rebounds at the half isn't bad for the PG, right?

Looks like we got solid time from the bench so far tonight.
