Hibbert would be awful. He's a dinosaur. I don't have interest in anyone on that roster. Mahinmi maybe.

I'd take Hibbert (and picks) for Bledsoe and by happy w/ it at this point.

I think David West would make more sense than Hibbert. They expire at the same time (if West takes his PO) and we wouldn't have to complain about the shortest 7'2 guy to ever play basketball.

West is so sold and horrible though, no thanks, no real difference with him and Carlos Boozer at this point, at least Hibbert is young and has some chance to develop something new/better

Actually, there's a substantial difference.

yea West was 14 and 6, where as Boozer was 13 and 8 last year. Huge difference, both are also old perimeter bigs.

Cannot imagine Hibbert on this team. The Suns exposed him horribly last year--so much so that the Pacers fell off a cliff the last half of the season. He would not be a good fit in the Suns offense, and he would stunt the growth of Len and Plumlee.

The best option is still to sign Bledsoe. IT is more insurance for Goran than for Bledsoe.

not saying hes a good option, just a better option that West would be IMO, and no way do you start Hibbert, you start Miles, and bring Roy off the bench.

that said, I'd still prefer they move Bledsoe for Julius Randle, thats my new dream now that Kevin Love is going to be a Cav

Trading Bledsoe is not a way out of the salary dispute because he'd have the same dispute with any other team. It's not like the Suns are beating offers off with a stick. Nobody seems to be trying to trade for him now any more than they were trying to sign him when they had cap room. Nobody wants him at his price. As long as he continues to hold out for far more money than anybody's willing to pay him, all the Suns can really do is wait.

An update on Bledsoe from Coro

http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /13935221/
A Comcast SportsNet Northwest report quoted a source who said the Suns' relationship with Bledsoe "is on the express lane to being ruined."

ESPN.com's Chris Broussard reported that the relationship is going in the "wrong direction."

"Maybe that's just posturing and negotiating," Sarver said of the reports. "We haven't heard from the guy in four months, so I couldn't tell you. I do know that when he played here, he felt good about the organization, his coaching staff and his teammates at the end of the season. We had the same feelings toward him."

Not really any new news there on the Bledsoe front. I can't say I'm impressed with the lack of communication from his representation.

Glad to see training camp back in Flagstaff:
The return of Suns training camp to Flagstaff will continue this year. The team will train again at Northern Arizona University when it leaves Sept. 29 for a five-day training camp that is closed to the public except for a camp-ending scrimmage. The Suns have trained at the high-altitude campus 17 times, but until last year they had not done so since 2004.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Actually any other team that extends an offer sheet must do two years at least, not including option years. So unless it's a team with cap room, you're talking a two year deal at mid-level, which leaves even more money on the table than talking the QO.

The difference is not 14-6 vs 13-8. It's the kind of rebounds they get, the effectiveness from midrange and in the post, defense, leadership as well. David West beats Boozer across the board.

PJ Tucker's been suspended for 3 games for his DUI incident.

Two games is the standard for DUI. Three is pushing it, but so is "super extreme," so pushing the standards a little in this case is justified. Any more would probably provoke a confrontation with the players union.

Yep, I expected two so this is a 50% increase. Four games are reserved for "super duper extreme".
