Good research, guys. I too had no idea who he was talking about.

He was also briefly portrayed in 2007's American Gangster as the mob business caretaker of Frank Lucas played by Denzel Washington.ShelC wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:57 pmBumpy Johnson was a gangster who ran numbers (among other things) in Harlem during the 30s and 40s. Clarence Williams III was Bumpy Johnson in "American Gangster." Williams was also Lincoln Hayes in the original "Mod Squad" TV series.

I came across that name in my research, but didn’t find anything identIfying him as the source of Tyler’s nickname.ShelC wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:57 pmBumpy Johnson was a gangster who ran numbers (among other things) in Harlem during the 30s and 40s. I did find a Pinterest page about gangsters created by a Tyler Johnson, but no indication that it’s our Tyler Johnson.

His shot selection is awful.In2ition wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 10:26 amOnce Jackson gets a consistent jumper, with all the shots he takes, he will be a 25+ a game scorer. He's actually growing on me and he's still trying to figure it out. He continues working on the jumper and getting stronger, he will improve his efficiency greatly next year. I do wish he learned how to look and pass to Ayton though, as he seems to have tunnel vision most of the time.

It's only awful when they don't go in.

I like all three guys now. A little worried about TJ’s injuries but I think he is still a bad ass. I think out of sight out of mind. Oubre has been playing out of his mind and I like his energy. Jackson has been playing a lot more consistently and has tons of energy too. I like all three now and am ok with any of them. It’s not like I get to pick two and therefore the other guy sucks by default. It’s a good problem to have.
