Game Day: Cavs (19-58) @ Suns (17-60), Mon 4/1/19

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Talking Stick Resort Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

Well, somebody's got to win, right? Both teams are on losing streaks. The Suns have lost 6 straight while Cleveland has lost 5 straight. Ayton will miss this one with a sprained ankle. Holmes should be back. Look for Booker to continue his hot streak and hopefully break through with a win.

Go Suns!!!

I didn’t see the last game. I recorded the game but, was at a gig and accidentally saw the final score on tv.. I hate knowing the score before watching, especially when I know we lose.

Is it me or did we start to win when we got Oubre and Johnson? Is it me or did we start to lose when Oubre and Johnson went out?

Saw this and thought it was cool and informative.

Oubre was part of the 17-game losing streak, then we went 6-4 in the next ten with him, the 0-6 in the next six without him. So yes, this losing streak started when he went out, but we also had a monster losing streak with him.

Johnson was here for the last five of the 17, then 5-3 with him, then 1-7 without him.

Holmes over the back for his 5th foul.

Just not a smart play.

I honestly finally threw in the towel around All Star break after being one of the few defending him for a while but tonight I think even just looking at the box score wouldn't do him justice
this really has been quite some game by him..... :? :o

I have always said I would never act like Josh is a good shooter but was part of the "can see improvements in his shooting" , however my bigger concern always was decision making and for me he still was making too many bad decisions/reads. I still think some here are overly critical of him but for sure there was a stretch of games that I felt like he gave folks quite a bit of reasons to throw shade

That monster dunk followed by monster block sequence was a thing of beauty! I sure hope he works hard this off-season and can get to another level next year.

This was a tough one to watch. Fourth quarter was a bit more entertaining.

Real nice game by Josh. Played explosive but under control.

Not sure which is worse, Suns zone defense or Cavs zone offense. Gross.

Funny little internal struggle going on with Igor playing Jimmer the bare minimum just so he can say to the front office, “I played him didn’t I?”
