Doesn't Denver own the rights to Lauvergne?
Yes, they do. I wanted us to take a flyer at him with a late second rounder last year.

True. He was a fan favorite playing for my local euro team Partizan Belgrade and next season he will play for Khimki in Russia. However, I expect him in the NBA in 2 years time.

Too bad. I was looking forward to Spain/US. I think they were the only team that would have been able to give us a little trouble.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

And again, Raduljica should be considered to give the bench a different weapon. We have Shavlik Randolph...
bogs is nothing special. and i think teodosic is the second best shooter in FIBA, behind steph curry.

That was true. MVP, I don't know. Diaw (and their coach) would be my choice. Besides a little of Fournier, Batum and Heurtel, Boris was the one who made things happen.

Lauvergne-Gobert-Diaw worked perfectly for them anyway and were a wall. France wanted a slow and physical game and that's what they got. Orenga was badly outcoached. Proposed terrible matchups, couldn't make any adjustments and Spain only gave the feeling that they could take the game when Rubio played tight defense, but a timeout by France and some questionable substotutions took Spain out of rhythm and brought the game back to where France needed it.

I don't know about special, but he has been good and his impact goes beyond shooting as he has showed real skills as playmaker.

Dragic is 6 years older, Steph is probably top 10 talent in the NBA. There is no comparation here.

Bogdan won`t be an all-star but I can see him as a solid starter on a winning team, for sure.

what attracted scouts like ronzone and quinter to dragic was not his outside shooting but his athleticism, speed and his daredevil moves towards the hoop. i havent seen bogs take it strong to the basket.

Sure, Dragic was considered our answer to guard Parker. But what does it have to do with Bogdanovic? He is a shooter and a pick and roll handler. You value him for what he is and how he does his thing, not on what different kind of players may bring to the table.
