He's a better ball handler, passer and defender than Daniels, so other than that not much difference.

I don't dislike Seth Curry, but he isn't much of a difference-maker. We urgently need a starting PG, and Curry ain't it.

I'm not sure WAS does that. They probably want more assets and/or more salary relief than that. Johnson comes off the books sooner than Beal, and the pick is not terrible, but that's their best guy. They'd probably want a cleaner cap sheet and a better pick(s).
