Yes, but not just that. There's the sketchy night club he ran in a strip mall with his brothers too. I'm not saying he's a knucklehead, but he ain't a choir boy.
Didn't know about that one, what is the story there?

So do we sign or trade or just let him go?

*Edit: Looks like the TWolves are over the salary cap

Has to be a sign and trade, they are way over the cap.

Yep, they would have to dump several players.

Their team payroll is $70 million, the cap is at $63 million. And they're not going to be able to shed $22 million.

Thank you, Timberwolves. This might get resolved soon.

Windhorst reporting the same:

Wolves have a few pieces I'd be happy to take. The issue is a few of them can't be traded as part of a package for a little while.

I'll be happy to have this resolved. If we get anything decent it is a win. Bledsoe, get ready to get booed in Phoenix this season.

What's to stop the Suns from matching? Or are we already beyond that?

If they agree to a sign & trade with Minnesota they can't back out on the agreement per NBA rules.

If there's no sign & trade agreement there's no way Minnesota can make a max offer unless they shed about $20 million in salaries without taking back anything in return.

I think because it's a sign and trade offer, that the Suns either accept or not. I imagine that the Suns are a little tired of this, but I hope that they have more patience and foresight than Suns fans like myself, who is ready to get nearly anything and move on.

Thanks Bobster. That makes sense.

How about a S&T where we get LaVine and Pekovic? I don't think there's a chance we get Wiggins.

I think we will have to wait few years untill we get this chance while Eric Bledsoe recovers from his third knee surgery.

I hope that they don't ask for Pekovic.
