Do you, guys, see Dougie McD as a 3 or 4 in the pros?

At 6' 8'' he's too small to play PF unfortunately. Though maybe he can get away with it at times in a small ball line-up. He's definitely going to struggle defensively to guard 3s in the league though. Here's hoping he gets drafted to the right situation. A team that lets him play his game and with a rim protector to help him out on defense.

Pretty spot on. I think he'll have to be a 3. As long as he just tries on defense he'll start somewhere and score 18-20 ppg. I'd like to see him on a team with a lock down perimeter defender to help him.

It was the second straight game the Jayhawks played without center Joel Embiid, sidelined with a back injury suffered in last week’s loss to Oklahoma State.

Embiid will fly to California to see a back specialist on Monday morning.

‘We wanted to get a second opinion and wanted to send him to the very best authority,” Self said following the game according to Gary Bedore of KUSports.com

“Hopefully we get real positive news. Hopefully he can be on the practice floor very very soon. We will not put him out there just because he feels better but because the doctors says it’s time to get back out there. Hopefully it will be real soon, if not we’ll sit him a little longer. We still don’t think it will affect (his participation in) the NCAA tournament in any way.”

I'm in a holding pattern with the draft, now.

I've got a hunch we'll try to make a move for Kevin Love in the off-season, but I have no idea what we'll give up - Frye, Green and picks? I'm certain they'll want our pick and, maybe, Washington's (maybe give them their pick back should they land #14?).

I'm also trying to factor in how the team might move forward with Len - would he be part of a package, even with Pekovic there?

Only way I think we stray from a move for Love is if we *somehow* land top 3 & go for Julius Randle - at any rate, 4 is our biggest weakness.

There's also what to do with P.J. - after 2 solid years, he'll be looking for a payday. If he walks for more lettuce than we can offer, there's a big hole as well, which case we might have to reconsider Kyle Anderson or Doug McDermott.

Just using those 2 as an example - regardless, if P.J. walks, there's gonna be a hell of a hole to fill.....

It shouldn't, considering they are totally different players. And consequently, resigning PJ shouldn't be contingent on the draftee, at least if it is one of those two.

It's Green, and above all the Morrii who could become expendable or redundant. Of course Ish/Barbosa too if a third guard was picked.

With Embids back problems I moved him down to 3 on my list. I still think he has the most potential, but the back scares me a bit.

Andrew Wiggins has improved dramatically this year. His jumper is more consistant, he is playing with a lot more confidence on the offensive side of the ball, and he seems like he is actually thinking about how to use his athleticism for basketball plays instead of just going out there without a plan. Best of all his last two games of 41 and 30 came on 15 and 19 shots respectively. Dude is getting more and more efficient. Right now I have

*I still just don't know enough about Exum to properly judge him. Everything is based on DX's reporting and a few highlight videos. I have to admit 6'6 is intriguing and he looks impressive in those highlight videos, but exactly what kind of competition is that? he seems like a sure fire top 8 or 9 pick and have seen people list him as high as 3. He may be the wild card of the draft. Gary Harris could be a nice fit for Phoenix....Really like his game, its very smooth

Jabari Parker had an incredible stretch during the second half of the ACC Championship, although Virginia prevailed (I really like Joe Harris). And Dickie V, we get it, you love Jabari Parker. He had tell us like five times that he would draft him number one; it got a little old real fast.

There have been times through the season where I felt Parker should go number one. But not anymore. I would love to have him, but I'm just not sure there is a compelling reason not to take Wiggins before him.

Idk, doesn't someone usually win one over at the ESPN challenge? This will have way more entries with as much publicity as it is getting. Someone will win the thing. The odds of doing it are way less than winning the lottery I think.
