I have a feeling Lin might be done physically. Or, there might just be better/cheaper options for teams at this point. Sometimes veteran guys just get frozen out of the league. Even name guys in their late 20s/early 30s who can still contribute can't get contracts. Teams know what they are and maybe just aren't as interested.

Lin hasn’t been good for a couple years, he’s not better than Tyler Johnson, he might not be better than okobo.

Yeah, signing him would be Linsane.

And with his injury history, he wouldn't provide much Linsurance as a backup.

Plus, he doesn't have much Lupside.

I'd sign him for the minimum and get rid of the other excess PGs
I was thinking same thing when I saw the news on Lin... If we move on from Okobo or Johnson he'd be great for some spot backup minutes
I'd keep Tyler and move him to backup off guard

If we were to pick him up, it would be another move that would get panned Linstantly.

He put up efficient shooting numbers in Atlanta. I'd rather have him as backup over jerome, who probably isn't ready

At best, Informer would give it a Lincomplete grade.

I'm very optimistic about Jerome. He's just so smart and such a good shooter, with great size and a record of success. Even if Lin were to stay healthy all season, I really have a hard time believing Jerome wouldn't surpass him pretty quick. Lin had trouble with shooting and turnovers in TOR, problems that I really struggle to see Jerome having even right off the bat. Whereas Lin can be detrimental to a team if he's not in a groove, I think worst case scenario for Jerome is being invisible out there. He's just too heady to really hurt us, IMO. Can't wait to find out!

Lin played poorly bacause of lack of consistent PT. The Toronto team didn't really need him because they already had Lowry and van fleet.

pretty sure inconsistent playing time will be a staple for our 3rd to 4th string PG.

Nah, that wasn't it. It was that I took liberties with pronunciation.

I hear he can sometimes be cruel and unpleasant to his teammates but it often results in beautiful music when he becomes vile Lin.
