These threads are 7 or 8 pages long when Ayton puts up 18 and 10 full of criticism after only playing in 10 or less games this season. He dominated on his 11th game and there's 6 or 7 comments about him.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Glad to see some folks picking it up, here's hoping it continues...watching the game recording.
Saric...if we had a 'good' PF, this would have been a 50 point win...Saric is just...awful.

I hope everyone can stop hatin' on Ayton (hayton?) now.

Fun game to watch. Glad for Ayton. Took a really giant step forward on offense. This is what fans have been clamoring for. All Star performance for sure.
Glad to see Cam make a couple shots. Now I want to see them run a few more plays for him like the curl he had in the first half. That was a thing of beauty and reminded me of Klay.
Rubio ended up with a gem also. His shot selection early made me feel like he was going to have a stinker. Glad to Be wrong. It’s kind of interesting, if you noticed, about 6 of his misses were shots early in the clock where he doesn’t pass but rather calls his own number.

Unfortunately, he’s a package deal. Gonna be a huge No for me. He deserves to be on a team like the Knicks. That’ll be the nicest thing I say about him

Ayton played with ferocity and a dominating presence on offense. He was great. Everything you’d want to see from a young player with that much talent. Any criticism I could point out on D isn’t anything new or noteworthy. He deserves high praise tonight.

Feel bad for him. He’s close to getting a Dragan Saric label from me. He seems like a smart dude and he doesn’t seem timid like Bender but dude has to start figuring it out else he won’t be in the league too much longer.Vladimir_Taltos wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 9:37 pmGlad to see some folks picking it up, here's hoping it continues...watching the game recording.

Weird shit for sure. I started paying attention when I saw Robinson crowding Elie and then things got weird. Randles head is full of rocks anyway. That’s why he’s in his 3rd shitty team.SunsRIt wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 8:13 pmYour right, the ball was inbounded to Randle who then threw it at Okobe, but Okobo did get pushed out of bounds by Robinson. The Suns should've held the ball since the shot clock was off, but Okobo decided to drive it hard at Ntilikina. He didn't shoot the ball, but apparently that was enough to get under the skin of Julius Randle. I don't know what the officials called on the play, but Knicks had possession, side out of bounds. Ntilikina inbounds to Randle who throws the ball at Okobo who then throws it back at him. Then we get into hold me back mode.
TL;DR: Okobo was trying to get one up on his national teammate and Randle didn't like it because his team got smoked.
I was watching Lecque honestly. Glad he got to make his NBA debut in MSG. Really wanted him to hit that layup.

What would it take to get gibson from the knicks? They have so many vet, semi vet pfs. Surely he'd come cheap
1st qtr was meh. we missed so many open shots
but we had some really good stretches from that point. Decent ball movemnt. This was the ayton we expected. It was great to see.
my only real criticism was mikal kept driving to pass. it was diaw like

Just rewatched...Okobo drove on Ntilikina...looked like he was trying to draw a foul...clearly I’m sure just having fun with his countryman. He passed it out to Carter who was pressured by Robinson..Robinson kinda pushed him, but carter mostly just walked out of bounds. Suns broadcast didn’t show the ensuing inbound or what Okobo did. Maybe Knicks broadcast caught it.djy2j wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2020 10:00 pmWeird s*** for sure. I started paying attention when I saw Robinson crowding Elie and then things got weird. Ya, just watched Knicks broadcast...Randle just tossed it to okobo. Okobo threw it back..Randle walked toward him. Dotson quickly turned Randle around and sent him off the court

I was watching the Knicks broadcast and saw it as it happened. The baseline official stepped in just before the inbound to basically tell them to stop with the BS.
Honestly, it was a pretty dumb move by Okobo. I hate the "unwritten rules" stuff, but it matters a lot to some guys so he probably should have restrained himself despite wanting to have a go at Ntilikina.
Randle is a baby, but I kinda already knew that about him. He often plays like a bully but then has a quick fuse when someone does it back.

RE: Ayton
Of course everyone realizes he had a great game. That's awesome. He needs to do it again. And again. And again...
Then I'll feel comfortable with his impending max extension.
