Hollinger chooses Booker for his 12th man on the West all-star team.

i worry about james jones. if this team continues to suck, he might just decide to help his other love in LA and send mikal bridges for kuzma. (at least the suns finally get their starting PF)

Who would you rather have, Kuz, Markkanen(these first two would require a trade), Gallo, Bertans, or Jerami Grant this offseason for PF?

Bertrans. Amazing 3 point shooter. 6'10, and his net +/- numbers on offense are off the charts. He's also younger than Gallo.

Kuz, Markkanen, and Jerami all have some bad (Kuz) to horrific (Grant) +/- numbers.

I think I'd want Markkanen out of all those players, but I admit that I haven't closely tracked his play lately. He's in a bit of a slump, is he not? Looks like this year he is averaging 15.0 ppg on 42/34/83 splits, and 6.5 rpg.

I'm pretty sure I remember him playing on the Suns for a short time.

Archibald played one game for the Suns in 2003-04. Played six minutes and hit a free throw.

September 30, 2003: Traded by the Memphis Grizzlies with Brevin Knight and Cezary Trybański to the Phoenix Suns for Bo Outlaw and Jake Tsakalidis.

December 26, 2003: Traded by the Phoenix Suns to the Orlando Magic for a future 2nd round draft pick.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

I haven't looked at much in regards to the draft this coming year. I was thinking though, if the Suns were to jump up into the top 3 or even 1. Would you trade the #1 or top 3 pick for SGA?
No, and I don't think OKC would either.

Thoughts on moving Baynes:
Every observer of Phoenix, however, knows how much Suns general manager James Jones and head coach Monty Williams wanted Baynes’ influence in the locker room to serve as a building-block of the culture-building process. That’s why they traded a 2020 first-round pick acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Boston Celtics on draft day, adding Baynes and the No. 24 pick (Ty Jerome).

It will be a matter if Jones foregoes a few more months — and possibly more if Phoenix wants to re-sign Baynes this offseason — of Baynes mentoring second-year center Deandre Ayton and setting screens to free guard Devin Booker.

I had my doubts that OKC would, but as far as the Suns, I would think a difference maker who is on a rookie contract would be something they would help. I get that the pick would be under a rookie contract for 2 more yrs, but you know what you are getting immediately with SGA and he would be great next to Devin.
