Total random opinion. Is there anyone else who hates the Brooklyn Nets court? The glossy, monochromatic shades of grey are exactly the type of thing I'd see from a 15 year old on NBA2K. It's just missing some stupid expression like, "it's lit!" in over worked graffiti and Off-White branding all over the place.

There is a lot of chatter that he is available, as Boylen has turned him into a player that isn't used correctly for his skill set. Although, I don't know if that's true or not. He would be a fascinating fit next to Ayton in the front court.

This is odd ranking, imo. How does Mitchell get ranked as 5th, when the numbers(if weighted equally) are better for Booker, who is ranked 6th? Players have Book at 4th & Mitchell as 6th, whereas Fans have Mitchell as 7th and Booker at 8th. They come out the same ranking in the Media.

Tyler for Satoransky and Thad Young (both have two more years remaining, but '21-22 is only partially guaranteed at 5M for Sato and 6M for Thad). Offer up to a couple of seconds. They can have any of Okobo, Jerome and Carter as well.

I wanted Satoransky over Rubio, so I have no problem targeting him. But Thad Young is a waste. He is unreliable from long range and a mediocre (at best) rebounder. I don't think he offers enough value to take on his contract.

This erases PHX's cap space for next offseason (poor FA class anyway)

I disagree about the FA class. If you're looking for superstars, then yeah, it isn't good. But I would love to have money pursue any of the following players:

Fred Vanvleet
Christian Wood
Willy Hernangomez
Mason Plumlee
Juan Hernangomez
Meyers Leonard
Derrick Jones Jr
Nerlens Noel Jr
Serge Ibaka
Trey Burke

I disagree about the FA class. If you're looking for superstars, then yeah, it isn't good. But I would love to have money pursue any of the following players:

Chris Boucher
Fred Vanvleet
Christian Wood
Willy Hernangomez
Mason Plumlee
Juan Hernangomez
Meyers Leonard
Derrick Jones Jr
Nerlens Noel Jr
Serge Ibaka
Trey Burke

The MLE should be enough to add any of those players, with the exception of FVV and Ibaka.

Waste for Young might be a little too strong. He's still useful. Not a rebounder but solid and versatile defense with decent scoring.

14.7M next season (and the aforementioned unguaranteed last year) doesn't repulse me. The real target would be Sato for sure, but CHI would need solid incentive if he was moved by himself. Knowing their FO has the reputation of being cheap, I'd think the proposition of unloading Thad would lesses the caliber of assets needed to pry Sato.

I'm watching Minnesota and OKC right now. Someone needs to put on a tape of KAT for Ayton. The way he gets his ass into his defender to create position and drop step for an easy layup should be a fundamental skill for Ayton, but I hardly ever see him do it. He really needs to work on lowering his base on the block to gain leverage against his defender.

I'll also add that Ayton's poor fundamentals in this area are a bigger reason for poor entry passes than the guy passing the ball. It's a hell of a lot harder for a defender to get a hand on the entry pass if Ayton initiates contact and pushes his man toward the rim before the pass. Too often he drifts towards the passer, losing contact with his defender. That allows the defender the freedom to reach around Ayton without fouling and deflect the entry pass.
