I am sure Saucy is rolling in the aisles too.

Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Wow. This is easy. My wish is that the Suns become NBA Champions this Season.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Good luck with that.

Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
So are you allowed to trade for a player, but get their team to pay for a portion of their contract if it is multi-year? For example, if Cleveland knows they don't want to deal with Love's contract the next 3 years, but also knows they will have no suitors that want that contract either, can they work out a trade where they keep half the salary on their books? They get out of half the cap hell, and the acquiring team is only risking half of Love's annual salary the next 3 years. Or can they only do that with cash upfront (and there is probably a limit on how much that is)?
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Not legal in the NBA.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
I feel Cam is what he is. I don't really see him as a productive player. He is a catch and shoot guy. He'll have games every now and then when he might get hit a bunch of open looks. But we'll probably just get 4-11 points from on any given night.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Well first, I'd like to not have those apply to just a segment of games. Secondly, yes, I would like Bridges to take and make more 3s.Indy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 12:10 pmA) 40% over the last 20 games is pretty consistent. I assume you mean keep that up for the rest of the season (and maybe take more 3s/game)?INFORMER wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 2:46 pmThis is a good topic, Danimal. Thanks for getting it started.
Wants:
- Mikal Bridges to hit 3s consistently
- Devin Booker to become an accurate, volume 3-point shooter
- Stick with Ty Jerome in the rotation; find out what we have in him
- Solid play from Jonah Bolden
B) Over the last 20 games, Devin is at 35% on 6 3PA/G. Are you thinking he needs to be in the +37-38% range and take 8-10/game? Just curious what high volume and accurate are for you here.
Booker should be really close to 40% from 3. 38% I think is reasonable. And yes, I'd like to see his attempts at 6-7 per game.

Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Isn't Cam what we wish Bridges would be? Perhaps not quite as good a defender, but very solid on that end. And a much better and more consistent 3-point shooter.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
The only thing he's better than Mikal at is 3-point shooting. His D is not on the same level.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
I think bridges is a better cutter also. If you could blend them together that would be nice.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 10:38 pmIsn't Cam what we wish Bridges would be? Perhaps not quite as good a defender, but very solid on that end. And a much better and more consistent 3-point shooter.
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
I forgot to add to my list, I hope they make Cam a focus of the offense off the bench. Before he got injured it seemed they were running more plays for him coming off double screens etc. he seems like our best shot at getting some mojo into our bench offense. There’s no one off the bench who is going to demand a double teams so you’ll need to run plays for cam
Re: Remainder of Season Wish List
Those are both fair. I always cringe at caveat-ed stat lines. "[Insert name here} is the best shooter in the game--If you throw out their bad games, and only look at usage rates above 26.2% for long 3s with less than 6 seconds left in the shot clock if you are down by +10"INFORMER wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 7:39 pmWell first, I'd like to not have those apply to just a segment of games.
