Reminds me of 6th months ago when MLS fans were losing their shit over the new Chicago Fire logo, which I think is a totally fine logo.

So ... the old Chicago Fire logo wasn't that bad so if you're a Chicago fan and you're comparing the two then I could see an issue, and apparently there are local gangs called the Kings - where the fire in the logo also represents a crown - but that might be reaching a bit.

But I'm not a Chicago fan and first impressions of the new logo were good.

No doubt there's better ones out there - the inter miami logo for example which is awesome - but it's nothing like the Rams' underwhelming effort.

I didn't see the "penis" in the Rams logo that Dickerson (ironicaly) was talking about until it was pointed out. Now of course, I can't unsee it. The "LA" logo does look like the old Chargers logo too. Overall, pretty blah.

But I'm sure the marketing people/agency that worked on this convinced themselves and everyone else in the room that it was the greatest thing ever and all their research showed that the test groups loved the logo

On second thoughts - penises excluded - I think you're right ... but without the image of the Ram is when it looks boring. Could choose any font in the world and you go with that one.

agree that with the ram is better, but on a helmet I think the less you have the better. Oh, and yes the font they chose is boring.
