It sounds like the NY AG's announcement this morning is about the NRA. They are saying the NRA leadership has participated in fraud for decades and is calling for the organization to be shut down.
The lawsuit accuses Wayne LaPierre (former NRA president) of defrauding the org of around $68m from 2015 - 2018 with the help of a close circle of aides within NRA leadership.
Separately, the Washington DC AG office is also suing the NRA Foundation for misuse of funds and self-dealing:
