I have always found Skip Bayless to be appalling. His takes here are...well umm...not terrible i guess. I appreciate the national recognition but who is this "lights out" shooter Jevon Carter he speaks of  Carter had a great bubble but I think we're a large sample size away from calling him a lights out shooter. I do like he acknowledges Cam and Bridges also.
42.5% on 146 attempts last season. Nobody on the team came close to that with as many attempts. In the league, there were only 5 guys that shot better from 3 in as many attempts.

Looks enticing. Not sure why the Wolves do it though.

Trending upwards for sure. Tyler Johnson had a few good shooting months in the past and we all saw how that turned out. Again, I like the direction Carter is headed but he's not a lights out shooter yet. I need to see more.

I don't like Bayless. He's so grouchy and just decides he hates a player or team and then proceeds to trash them for 20 years no matter what they do. He seems way too stubborn and set in his opinions. As one example, I don't love Lebron, but seeing Skip Bayless talk smack about Lebron every moment he gets the slightest chance to do so has been uncomfortable to watch.
I liked him for those 20 seconds.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Are you saying that because it is only one season? I realize his 1st in the league he was at 33.3%, but he shot above 38% his last two years in college too.

I get that he doesn't fit the mold of a "lights out shooter" but he delivered on it this year. Sure he could regress, just like Mikal or Cam or whomever. But it is who he is right now.

Carter feels more like a streak shooter. Cam is the lights out shooter. I wouldn't expect Skip to know much about our guys tho. You could probably count the number of Suns games he's watched on 1 hand. Some producer just handed him a season stat sheet.

Or he watched the bubble games where Carter was pretty lights out.

What do you think? Interesting win total changes in this.
I don’t know where people get these trades to go through, but I don’t think there’s any way that trade works. We bring in 60 million in salary and only send out 31. We’d need almost 30 million in cap space to do that.

I think it feels that way because Cam takes so many more shots.

By the month:

Nov: 40 vs 40
Dec: 25 vs 43
Jan: 56 vs 26
Feb: 42 vs 40
Bubble: 55 vs 35

I don't think most people would have suspected the first one is Carter.

Yeah that's a good way to describe how i feel about it. Guys like Cam, Klay, Korver, have that stroke. Carter has had recent success but he's never been a guy who's known for having that "stroke." He's still developing his.

Skip Bayless is a made for TV hack and his opinions should be treated as such.

Whatever happens, I hope things are being communicated to Book properly so he's not caught off guard with anything either way or hears things from different sources that may cause him to sour on the org.

I’d rather offer Raptors a sign and trade 10th + Oubre for FVV. 10th pick + Oubre feels very pricy. Is that our price for having Sarver or for having a star make the request given Book wants this.

Honestly not sure how tuned in Flex is or why someone would be giving him info to put out there. There were a few unverified accounts claiming sources that a deal is done so who knows. I think more and more fan accounts looking for cred and followers are just recycling rumors in different ways. Odd tho that Presti gave Schroeder away to the Lakers but seems to be playing hardball with us.

If Cam is in it, Kelly absolutely better not be in it. I don’t like Cam being in there, but I’d probably rather have Kelly. Might be why we’re more linked to Bey, Bane, and Nesmith now. Want the shooter to replace Cam. Signing Bertans might be a good idea too.
