we'd have to send out okobo or kaminsky in such a trade right?
NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
it feels like after we got cp3 that all the talk of drafting a pg went away. I would be happy with hayes.pickle wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 5:30 pmAlso, I'm a little surprised that there isn't more love for Hayes on this board. I'd love to get a guy like that to learn under CP3 and to take over the position full time in 2 years. In my mind I think at least 2 million of CP3's bloated salary is for player development, since we are too cheap to actually hire top player development personnel.
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
If feels good to be in a position to grab a slider rather than worry about which project McD is going to burn our pick on.
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
I voted for Hayes. I think the CP3 trade almost makes it necessary to draft a PG, since CP3 obviously isn't gonna be playing at a high level much longer.pickle wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 5:30 pmAlso, I'm a little surprised that there isn't more love for Hayes on this board. Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
Trying to sell myself on Okoro. If the upside is Gerald Wallace, that's pretty damn good.
Precious Achiuwa, Dalano Banton, Batum, Chris Boucher, Amir Coffey, Tre Jones, Laravia, Mamukelashvili, Tre Mann, De'Anthony Melton, Minott, Nance, Chris Paul, GP2, T. Prince, Reed, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Tate, Watford, Yabusele

Sam Vecenie changed his suns pick to Okoro...never really considered him, but seems to be some smoke
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
I guess they are worried about not having an athlete on the team

Not a fan. Edwards was not that impressive when I saw him in person n has left fire then Ayton.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Wiseman gets drafted by Golden State and his highlight package is Penny and Shaq. SMH
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
Eh, Edwards is the safe pick if you're Minny, Wiseman - who's gone 2 - the safe bet for GS.
So far as expected.

Also the fact that he misses 20+ games a year and last year was the aberration.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 6:01 pmI voted for Hayes. I really want Hayes.

Lamelo goes 3rd...4 is where things get interesting

Thanks for the insight.Sunsfan4life wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 4:58 pmI'm a huge Auburn tigers fan. Watched about 10-15 Okoro games last season. He has the potential to be a top 2 player in this draft. He's very raw but his ability to defend/slash/block shots n his improvement during his freshman year was outstanding. You might have to wait a year or 2 for the body to develop n yes his jumper needs work (but not as much as people tjink) but this is a guy who is a guy who if we somehowwalk away with James Jones would get an A+.
The buzz on him is similar when we drafted Marion...

I think the board mostly loves Hayes. We don't expect him to be available at 10, though.pickle wrote: ↑Wed Nov 18, 2020 5:30 pmAlso, I'm a little surprised that there isn't more love for Hayes on this board. I gotta say this Covid working from home jive is great - eating lunch, watching the draft, getting paid .. what more could a man want right now!
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
Patrick Williams goes 4...that’s high
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2020
Yeah, that would seem like a steal.
