Get me Crowder and a guard/swing along the lines of DJ and let’s call it a day

Denver 'matched' Pistons offer.

Don't ask, just match. You are a contender. Can't afford to lose important pieces like that.

Edit: I see a post saying DEN matched, but the tweet doesn't load. Is it true?
Deleted because of the wording. Denver offered to match the contract, but grant was unrestricted so it was up to grant. He chose Detroit. Guess it was about role. He’ll get a chance to be a featured player on that awful Detroit team.

Is Crowder better than Cam? I don’t mind Crowder, but Cam is a better shooter. Crowder is a bigger body, but I’m not really sure he helps us all that much.

Ya, he can give them some of what they lost with Grant. Maybe not going to defend the perimeter oriented guys, but he’s bigger and can help cover for Jokic more.

We need a backup 3/4.
I like Saric as the backup 5.

Maybe no suns news is good news with some of these deals being handed out.
Exactly. But Woods on a terrific contract was there for the taking.
He’s got a huge role in Houston. He’s the only big man there. Think that probably played a big role as well.

Ya I agree, crowder wouldn’t be bad. He just doesn’t move the needle much for me. He’s one of those guys that isn’t as good of a shooter as his reputation. Whenever I watch him, he misses a lot of open looks.

Crowder is tough, and has a good reputation, but yeah, his play is actually pretty lack luster. A lot of poor shooting, low production nights.

Bobby Portis?? Barf.
Portis would be solid.
His game is fine. He can rebound and stretch the floor. But we just drafted Smith for his exact role. Plus he doesn’t seem like a James Jones guy from a character standpoint. A little too much Josh Jackson. Maybe he’s matured.

Yeah, he had that run-in with Mirotic in Chicago, so the character may not be there. But Mirotic apparently is also a jerk.

Ya and it’s been a couple years, I haven’t paid much attention to him since then.

Pass on Portis.

Would like someone more well rounded and better character. He just shoots, and shoots too much.

I need a target on each Suns roster- he would be an easy one for me

I wouldn't be surprised if the Suns brought in Tristan Thompson.

I’d be fine with that.

Probably the Kardashian connection.

If he comes cheap on a 2 year deal.

Thompson is interesting...he was overpaid on those Lebron teams, but he’s a good player. He can rebound and defend. And on a very small(I’m talking 23 attempts) he started hitting 3’s last year. 9 for 23. I wouldn’t hate it on a 2 year deal.

Character issues is the main reason why I don’t want portis. It’s been a couple years and mirotic is an asshole but the dude broke his jaw and gave him a concussion. No. Pass.

Was just about to come say I wouldn’t hate signing Dunn to a cheap deal. Could be an interesting fit alongside Trae

Good move for Atlanta. The only issue is that Dunn hasn't been able to stay healthy.

And Chris Paul seems obsessed with punching guys in their junk.
