Paul/Payne
Booker/Carter
Bridges/Johnson
Crowder/Saric
Ayton/Smith

Is that our rotation? Maybe add another guard with the BAE and then some vet min deals to fill out the roster.

That's really good if we get the MIami version who shot 45% from 3. Not so great if we get the Memphis version from last year.
Thats true. Miami version was really good.

Nah, he’s not Ariza. Crowder plays hard and we’re a good team. I just worry he’s not the shooter people think. He’s only shot over 34% from 3 one year in his career.

At least the draft didn't suck.

So much for Gambo’s claim that we would only give out 2-year contracts.
3rd year might be a team option.
I can only hope.

I would have rather given that money to a real big, like Tristan Thompson.

Him and Booker used go at it and talk shit at each other during games so that will make fun fluff piece to read about soon.

I’m not sure he qualifies as a shooter. But he’ll get looks in this offense. Hopefully he’s 35% or higher.

Yeah, Crowder isn't going to mail it like Ariza. But it is a move that has shades of Ariza because they are fundamentally the same type of player: role player from playoff team that isn't productive or offers quality play. Just a rep of being a role player that knows how to win. Danny Green has turned into that too.

It’s tradable contract. Depending on what Saric gets, we might be able to have decent amount of salaries to put a package together for a disgruntled star mid season if one becomes available.

He’s a clanker. Doesn’t anyone remember EJ just ripping on his poor shot selection and the amount of bricks he throws up. He played better in Miami but he was trash in Memphis.

Hopefully his chucking days are behind him

We're getting a star with a package of Dario Saric and Jae Crowder?

No. Just like no one remembered that Ryan Anderson was a corpse or that Ariza was abysmal against Golden State.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aron Baynes ends up in Houston.

Think about it this way, we signed a starter of a team that made the Finals to the MLE.
