Local or national?

Post by Cap »

When the Suns are on national TV, do you prefer to watch the Suns-focused local broadcast or the national network broadcast?

I need an option that says "It depends on who is calling the game." That is the biggest factor for me.

I can’t add options. Ask a mod.

I’m going to listen to the National broadcast because I get the local broadcasts most of the time. Unless it’s a Tuesday night player’s only TNT broadcast because they just talk over the game and are annoying as hell.

Then I will just say, I choose the least annoying announcers.

Yep. And NBA TV usually sucks too.

NBA TV is usually just one of the local broadcasts with lead ins.

Ah, you are right. I thought they did a studio call too.

I always mute the TV broadcast and listen to Al McCoy (I sync the radio with the TV through my computer).

I honestly prefer to mute the broadcast and listen to Al McCoy on the radio. He's not what he used to be, but he is still better than the TV guys. And his voice IS the Suns to me.

I always watch the game delayed. Al is out of the question as much as I like him.

Same. I'm not willing to sit through commercials.

Yep. Mostly the same here. I don't ALWAYS watch on tape delay, but mostly.

I suppose I could record both and synch them together, edit out the commercials and then watch it. Then again that would suck to do and take longer than watching the game with commercials.

Doubt he would give up his TV gig. And he would be turrrible at it. Radio is so much harder than TV.

He’s going to retire after 49 years? Why not make it an even half century?
