Stanton growing in confidence as a starter. And not turning the ball over. Impressive...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...
Re: The Buzzsaw That Is The Arizona Cardinals
You guys look good. Saints could easily be 3-0 with 2 last second FG losses but they don't look good at all.
Go Suns!

Packers scored just seven points even with Aaron Rodgers. Wow.

Buzzsaw at 4-1, top of the NFC West. Glad we didn't have to watch the Logan Thomas show today.

I'm normally not a Cowboys fan, but thank you Dallas for getting it done against the Sea Buzzards.

5 and 1.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

6 and 1. Was at the game. One of the craziest, best and loudest games I've ever been to.

Exactly. I'm still holding my breath. The second half hasn't been kind historically.

This isn't the same Cardinals team we've all been historically accustomed to following. I don't think you'll see a repeat of our prior 2nd half flounders.

In 35 gms as an NFL head coach @BruceArians is 25-10 (71.4%). That's 9-3 w @Colts & 16-7 w @AZCardinals[/tweet]

I'm rooting for them. But I'm not a fan. If that makes any sense.

Who's your football team Indy?

I am not a huge NFL fan, but I root most for the Dolphins. Growing up in AZ without a team, I latched on to my dad's team.

Funny how that works. I was the same way with my dad being from Cleveland. That was my team. The Cardinals supplanted them because I can see all of their games and have to follow the Browns on the Internet.

Yep, growing up in Phoenix is how I became a one sport guy. Both the DBacks and Cardinals came after my youth. Still root for them both though. I enjoyed the heck out of the DBacks World Series win.Indy wrote:I am not a huge NFL fan, but I root most for the Dolphins. Growing up in AZ without a team, I latched on to my dad's team.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Yeah I didn't have a baseball team either. But Jerry getting the diamond backs helped me there. Got me more into baseball. I loved that run too. I've been less active in my fandom since they kicked him out. But I still root for them over any other team.
Re: The Buzzsaw That Is The Arizona Cardinals
I used to be a big football fan. I too growing up in PHX had to choose a team to follow outside the state and chose the Raiders. Somewhere along the line football lost me and I now see the Raiders as the official team of gangs. I don't really follow football anymore, but am excited that the Cardinals have started so well. I have sort of become a bandwagon fan I admit.

It's so sweet to stomp the Cowboys after the shellackings we used to get from the Aikman/Smith/Irvin teams.
Re: The Buzzsaw That Is The Arizona Cardinals
Yes it is. The Cardinals used to be the laughing stock of the league. Not anymore.
