Mikal is and was at the time worth a mid 1st and late 1st rnd pick. He's looking even better right now.
One of the few things McD did right.
Indeed.

Book was the consensus pick so he doesn’t get that much credit except to not mess it up.

Bridges was a great grab

The thing I like best about MB is his competitive joy. He obviously just loves to play, and you can see how that translates to the other guys.

Agreed. He was pumped in Utah when he didn't think that Saric was going to pass to him on the break, and then looked away and dropped a dime to him for the layup. He gave Saric mad props for that play.

Honestly, it probably isn't Ryan that deserves the credit. Ryan wanted SGA. Sarver was the Bridges fan, and something tells me Jimmy Jones was in his ear.

Ya remember all the confusion with who we were picking that year? Gambo thought we traded for SGA. Later after McD was fired he mentioned he had a trade in place for a pg that Sarver said no to. Bridges was JJ and Sarver.

this is actually an analyst I follow for fantasy league but stats are stats and these are some interesting numbers he posted today

it sure looks so when watching the games and we've all commented on how the team is rotating on D

no surprise with Book and CP

well here's the other correlation based on above and obviously DA numbers probably impacts this also

guess we're midpack here but that's surprising

this is also fairly surprising

this post was inspired by Shel :) , excuse me if it is a lil much

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Didn't know this but the Suns have had the toughest schedule so far in the league. 5 and 1.

Ha! You guys love my mile long posts!

The stats are fun to look at and decipher and mostly tell a good story over the first 6 games. We'll see how teams adjust to what we've been doing and then how we re-adjust after that. It's good we've been tested and got the wins early while we're still figuring things out. We'll be better for it and it'll help in the standings later on.

Glad I’m not the only one.

Just a suns version of a popular meme.

Think it technically started as a flat earth meme maybe?

I think you need to at least make the playoffs or acquire a top 5 player before you can call yourself a contender.
He could be calling his shot. When the Suns got Nash, they went from lottery to best record in the West. Maybe something like that happens here. The Suns could be a contender if these three guys show up:

1. Dominayton
2. OKCCP3
3. Scrimmage Bridges
So far none of these things has happened (Bridges is close though) and the Suns are tied for the best record in the league.

Bridges is absolutely a Jones guy. Nothing about him seems like a McD guy.

That is crazy. (and I would say we are getting scrimmage bridges)
