No words for how bad Booker was tonight.

Ayton finally shows a pulse and Booker can't hit a shot. I'm losing patience with Chris Paul. He's passing up open shots and dribbles into bad situations way too often. What a frustrating game.

Refs blatantly don’t blow the whistle on the foul of Morant because they e already decided who’s winning.

Ayton had a great game and played hard but I keep having to remind myself it was against a team that doesn’t have a center

Too many turnovers (Paul had 6). Only 9-16 from the foul line.
Pissed away two 10-point leads.

Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Yes, yes, yes, yes, YES!
This is the Ayton we need, and there was still room for improvement. But he showcased what he could be: attacking the rim, looking to score, making plays with his passing. Maybe he just needed a week off.

It was a great pass. Loved seeing that from Ayton.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:10 pmI think Cam Payne didn't believe the pass he was getting from Ayton

Yeah, I didn't get that one. In live action it didn't seem like anything at all.

I probably shouldn't make this joke, but maybe he used the week off to start a new cycle?

I hated the trade, and I would love to see him traded asap, but I felt like he did better tonight in terms of finding opportunities to score , playing with a little more pace, and reducing the dribbling a bit.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:28 pmI'm losing patience with Chris Paul. And I loved him passing out of the layup midair to Bridges for the 3. Great heads-up play.

Honestly, I thought the same thing. I said to myself, "he found some new PEDs."Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:56 pmI probably shouldn't make this joke, but maybe he used the week off to start a new cycle?![]()

I'm guessing you understandably hated the trade because of some combination of Chris Paul's age, ceiling and style as a player, fit with our team, and his salary?INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:58 pmI hated the trade, and I would love to see him traded asap, but I felt like he did better tonight in terms of finding opportunities to score , playing with a little more pace, and reducing the dribbling a bit.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:28 pmI'm losing patience with Chris Paul. Yes sir. Very concise - well done. I'll be honest though, I didn't think his pace and dribbling would be so problematic to the team's rhythm. That has surprised me.Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:00 pmI'm guessing you understandably hated the trade because of some combination of Chris Paul's age, ceiling and style as a player, fit with our team, and his salary?INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:58 pmI hated the trade, and I would love to see him traded asap, but I felt like he did better tonight in terms of finding opportunities to score , playing with a little more pace, and reducing the dribbling a bit.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 5:28 pmI'm losing patience with Chris Paul. I obviously did not watch Chris Paul enough prior to the trade. Because I've also been surprised by this; I knew he wasn't Steve Nash or John Stockton, but I also wasn't expecting him to pound the ball like Marbury.INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Jan 18, 2021 6:02 pmYes sir. And as others have astutely mentioned, the pairing of him with Booker has been god-awful. I truly hope Devin's okay

I enjoyed watching Brandon Clarke tonight.

You guys are better than this, right? Blaming Booker's awful play on a woman is shitty. Blame Booker, not his girlfriend. Why not blame his dog. Or all the time he spends playing COD? Or maybe he isn't what we thought he was.
