DA is the biggest b*tch
For real - book bailed him out, but man... that was like when you are playing a video game and hit the pass instead of dunk button wtf

Perfect comparison. What a terrible play. Frustrayton.

Milwaukee and Philly are really good, but the NBA needs to end this conference nonsense. Put the best 16, now 20 teams, in the playoffs.

I'm really impressed with how strong Devin is attacking the basket.

The Suns shot 38 of 54 on 2-point FG for 70.4%

Another great win, maybe the best of the season which is something considering the Bucks game. This one felt like two heavy weights feeling each other out at first, then trading punches back and forth before the Suns started landing the heavier blows and knocking the Sixers out. They had no answer for Book in the 2nd half. He was driving, getting to the line, midrange was working, deep 3s...they just couldn't guard him. He's a closer.

Embiid is obviously great, but they didn't go to him enough IMO, especially against Ayton. DA was mostly invisible, let Embiid get whereever he wanted, just soft all game minus a few easy lay-ins at the rim. Saric played Embiid about as well as you can play him. Kept him off balance, pushed him out away from his usual spots where he's comfortable, got some steals and his hands in the passing lanes down low. We've really missed his interior post defense.

Moore and Payne gave us some very good minutes. Payne is one of the few guys who plays downhill and attacks the rim, which we need. Moore may stick in the rotation over Gallo and Carter for now but I think that 4 guard role will be fluid. Frank may go back to seeing limited minutes if Saric is really back and healthy.

Don't want to look past the Magic tomorrow with the Nets on Tuesday but we've just knocked off the Cs, Bucks and Sixers and won 8 of the last 9.

Right now there may be 5 teams in the West better than anyone in the East.

This was a great win. Booker had a huge game; loved all the strong drives to the basket and drawing fouls. He looked like a genuine All-Star and max player tonight. Saric was great, huge impact the instant he set foot on the court. Love his game, his high bbiq, the way he sees plays, makes good passes, sets great screens, just really heady player who does the right thing to win. I thought Crowder gave us solid minutes again, just makes good veteran plays, hits some open shots, plays good D, plays hard. Cam Johnson had a great game, too, I thought. He attacked the basket and also hit some big shots. Moore shot 5-6 and gave us great bench guard play. CP3 somewhat quietly gave us 18 and 10, a solid performance.

Credit to Coach Williams for noticing that Kaminsky was in over his head and yanking him early. I love the way Frank has played recently, but that was not a favorable matchup, so I'm glad Coach adjusted right away.

Really the only downsides tonight were that Bridges and Ayton had pretty quiet games. I wish one of those guys had put up better numbers or had more of an impact. But with the way everybody else was playing, it turned out okay. Ayton had a really tough assignment on Embiid, but I wish he would get hyped for these big games and go all out. Oh well; it is what it is.

Check out Philly's box score. Their bench was almost nonexistent. Nobody outside of their starting 5 had more than 6 points. I love our depth and I'm glad we can get contributions from so many guys.

Love that we’re not just jacking up 3s all game during this stretch. This is winning the right way and is sustainable success

I don’t really get those +, - scores. Apparently a higher + score is a good thing and a - number isn’t as good.

https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=401267566

Kaminsky -7
Bridges -7
Ayton -6

Booker +1
Paul +2
Payne +7
Crowder +16
Saric +18
C Johnson +21

While on the court, what was the net gain. For example, in all the minutes Ayton played, the Sixers outscored us by 6. During all the minutes Saric was on the court, the Suns outscored Philadelphia by 18.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I am afraid that article might be lost to the sands of time. But! I definitely saw it, and it quoted one of your posts. It was that 2008 series where Duncan unfortunately hit that 3-pointer in game 1. And mysanantonio, for some reason, was curating fan reactions form spurstalk of all places. IIRC, your post said something like "un-fucking-believable" ...or something!
