Agreed. I would have loved to see us go against their Big 3.

He’s probably just going to do a stint in the G-League.

I don't know. Strange that he wasn't available tonight. That doesn't happen because you're getting ready to play in the G-League. I'm a little worried.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:00 pmHe’s probably just going to do a stint in the G-League.

It makes to me if he has to quarantine before officially going. If that is the case, it makes sense to get it started early but we’ll see I guess.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:27 pmI don't know. Strange that he wasn't available tonight. Re: Suns News: Week 8 2/8-2/14
“I’ve always just wanted to be a factor in winning. Whether that’s playing two minutes a game,” Kaminsky said. “Whether that’s playing the minutes that I’m playing right now and doing whatever I have to do … Whatever I’m asked to do I’m going to try to go out there and try to do it to the best of my ability. “The couple games before that, we’d struggled with turning the ball over, not moving the ball enough, our offense was dipping,” he said. “We were doing the things that we needed to do on defense, but our offense wasn’t really there.
“So [Monty Williams] challenged us to stick with what we were trying to run and to run out there and play with the offense that we have kind of installed this season.” Kaminsky said he took Williams’ challenge to heart, which helped him gain the confidence he needed to excel on the court in recent weeks. “I took that as a challenge to go out there and show what kind of playmaker that can help connect the offense, move the ball from side to side and we did that against Golden State,” Kaminsky said.
“And that gave me the confidence to know that I am a passer and a playmaker and somebody with the second unit that can keep the ball moving when Chris (Paul) and Devin (Booker) aren’t on the floor.”
“Essentially, I went there this free agency, and it wasn’t very fun to say the least,” Kaminsky said. “I went to Sacramento, basically on a training camp deal. At the end of training camp they were essentially like, ‘We don’t have room for you.’ That was frustrating, but I wanted to be in Phoenix the whole time. So when that happened and I went on waivers, I called my agent and said, ‘I want to go back to Phoenix’ and it happened and I’m very thankful that it happened.”

Very unusual and not a good sign. Doubtful they would use a phrase like “I don’t want to speak for him” for something like a G-League assignment. They would just announce that they were sending him even if it was the players idea.Charlie Smithy! wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:47 pmSame.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun Feb 14, 2021 10:27 pmI don't know. The comments on the tweet show someone taking a picture with him yesterday at the Atlanta airport. Maybe Atlanta connecting to Orlando if it’s a decision to play in the GLeague bubble.
Guessing he either told the team he’s going to play the full bubble season or he’s opting out of basketball for Covid reasons which would be weird timing since he just had it. Stay tuned

He's probably going to the GLeague Bubble and Monty didn't want to make it public before an official PR or maybe paperwork was done or something and then have to expand on why and get into everything.
We're winning, guys are set in their roles at the moment and we're not reliant on a rookie (which is nice) or need to force him into minutes or rush his progress. Monty talked about him not having SL or a real training camp, there's less practice time, less time to pick up the verbiage and if he's not playing in games or getting run in practice, let him get reps in Orlando. No surprise here IMO, assuming that he is on his way to the GLeague bubble.

If that's all it is I'm fine with it. Just seemed a little odd how they responded to his whereabouts.

Re: Suns News: Week 8 2/8-2/14
Ya, this definitely feels like a G league assignment to me. Let him go and play for a bit. We’re obviously not using him. He’s last on the big man rotation right now.
Re: Suns News: Week 8 2/8-2/14
I think it's fine and that they should send him down to the GL to get some minutes. We have a deep rotation and don't really have space for him right now. And he won't improve if he isn't getting to play. So that's what the G-League is for. Not a big problem. I hope he can get into a rhythm so that maybe we can bring him back in a few weeks. And we won't stay 100% healthy for the whole season, so we'll have need for him at some point.

Amin's probably telling a 45 minute story on some podcast about how Sarver wouldn't validate his parking back in 2011.
