I thought maybe Javale to Denver was more about keeping him away from size needy teams than anything else but they actually don’t have much of a backup behind Jokic right now.

JaVale from Warriors right through to his stint with Lakers was just go out there for 15mins, try to dunk every dish, block every shot and run the court hard. He did that job well and probably would have been a decent back up for DA

Anyways I'm not sure how we stop with assets but most of us think size at the 5 would help so wouldn't have been a bad acquisition assuming it was plausible

Still bummed about it. Its also possible that Jones is less likely to bring in a backup big because thats exactly what he drafted Smith to be, and doesn't want to concede that he is not likely to produce this season.

I had to peep standings. I have said how much I like Zach and he's slowed down a lil recently which possibly can be from doing all that heavy lifting

Pairing him with Vuc though is pretty good as that is potentially a headache of a PnR to defend. They are 10th so only way is up, obviously should make play-in games as I don't think Raptors turning around their season
