We could be .5 game back after tonight...of course we’re just starting our toughest 8 game stretch of the season as well
Yeah, I was reading about the top teams in the WC remaining schedule and the Suns was by far the hardest.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I thought I might have food poisoning and then I realized I was watching Jazz vs. Lakers and pulling for the Lakers to win. Glad that's over with.

We basically have two games left against non threats(Thunder and Cavs)

4 games against playoff hopefuls(Spurs X3, Warriors)

5 games against playoff locks(Knicks X2, Hawks, Celtics, Blazers)

and 6 against contenders(Jazz, Clippers, Lakers, Nets, Sixers, Bucks)

I think 11-6 would be an average finish and put us at 51-21. So 52 or more wins is what I want.

Jazz were without Mitchell, Conley and all three centers. Ilyasova was playing center and getting bludgeoned by Drummond ...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

I, uh, picked the suns to win 40 games in the preseason poll. So I was one of the first to be right in this board! Yeah that’s it, look on the positive side!

Scottie Pippen's firstborn son has died. Devastating.

That's a significant injury for an athlete. I'd be surprised to see him back this season.

What Steph is doing right now is bonkers...49 points and 10 3s tonight. He’s hit double digit 3s and 40 points in 4 of his last 5 games. I’m gonna lol at Jazz getting the 1 seed and having Curry bury them in round 1.

Sadly, Steph's heroics are good for roughly a .500 record. I actually think the Jazz would completely stomp this Warriors team. Curry can't do everything by himself.

Curry could be terrifying in a 1-game win-or-go-home situation.

I'll quietly note that the Warriors have had most of this recent success (four game win streak prior to their game last Saturday at Boston) with Oubre sitting out. He was back for this Philly game, but played reduced minutes (just over 20) off the bench. Causation? Coincidence? Who can say?

Kelly Oubre Jr. is Torrey Craig who thinks he's Donovan Mitchell.

Yes I would still expect the Jazz to win, but if Curry is going to play like he has the last 10 games, they’d have a shot. Warriors are playing better lately. 6-2 over last 8 with wins over Milwaukee, Philly, and Denver.

They didn't have to face Giannis or Simmons and Harris in those wins, and Murray was injured near the end of the Nuggets win.

I'm not buying it for the playoffs. I don't care how good Curry is, they start two guys who can't shoot and any coach worth his salary wouldn't lose to them four times in a series.

Curry can win you a game or two just by being himself. And the "any team on any night" could get you another one or two. It isn't likely, but unlikely things happen every year in the playoffs. And you know the league and media would love to see Curry upset a team (or two).

The Warriors winning a first round series would be up there with the Nuggets beating the Sonics and the "We Believe" Warriors knocking off the Mavs. Both were basically once-in-a-decade types of wins, so it's not impossible, but I wouldn't bet on it.

So then you agree with Split when he said if Curry keeps this up, they have a shot. Nobody said it was likely.

Sure, 0.0000001% chance (estimate) is still a shot.
