Good opportunity for Šarić to get his game back up to speed, even if it was against the equivalent of a G-League outfit.
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

The Suns current W-L record represents the fifth-highest winning percentage in franchise history.

Amazing. Congrats to James Jones for putting this team together in such a short time and his hire at coach, Monty Williams, for being such a great leader of men and for helping to get them to 50 wins. And finally to Chris Paul who put this team over the top and hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down at 36 years of age.

Watching tape delayed. 10:38 left in the 3rd with the score 75 Suns - 47 Spurs. They come back from a time out and the Suns steal the ball leading to a Paul shot and make from the free throw area. The score stays 75-47. Spurs go down and shoot a 3 and miss. Score 75-47. Booker hits a shot from almost the same spot at the free throw line. Score 77-47. Wtf!

Still watching the game and wanted to note their mistake. Maybe they figure it out before the game ends. Not that it really matters.

Edit: They caught it a little while later at 9:25 and added 2 points on a Bridges miss.

Put some muscle on Stix and let's find out if he can really be a contributor next year.

I don’t get this. We have a week off after the game. Do we really need to rest?

I don’t expect Utah to lose, but as long as the possibility exists we should be trying.

I would think injury prevention if nothing else?

It was good to see our bench guys get some run in today. It's too bad we didn't get to see Gallo or Moore play more this season but that just speaks to the depth at guard.

Ya I think it’s just about playing back to back. My guess is they compromise...everyone plays, but like 15-20 minutes is all.

That was perfect. They were supposed to crush them and did. I feel bad. I gave Jalen some smack pre game about being the guy that mixes the Gatorade for the players before the game. Nice to see him and the guys who haven’t been getting playing time get some burn. Galloway and E’twaun were understandably a little rusty to start. They seemed to get i to a groove after awhile.

They were talking about resting guys for the last game. I think that would be cool if they gave all the deepest bench guys good minutes that aren’t garbage minutes. San Antonio isn’t playing all their guys and are playing the same back to back the Suns are. Pop will be back though I think and he has a way of turning carbon into diamonds. He’ll just yell at the refs until they start calling everything the Spurs way.

Last nine games he played in, Payne averaging more than 13 ppg with only 5 total TOs.

They showed his points by year average and it has gone up every year. Getting to that sixth man of the year territory if he keeps this up. Maybe not this year.

With this win over the Spurs, the Suns now have at least one win against every other team in the Western Conference; they also defeated every team in the East at least once, with the exception of the Brooklyn Nets.

Out West, the Suns lost the season series to only two teams, Denver and the Clippers (and still could against San Antonio, depending on the game tomorrow). They swept Dallas, Houston, Portland, and Utah, and were 2-1 against everyone else. In the East, the Suns swept nearly half the teams: Chicago, Cleveland, Miami, Milwaukee, New York, Philadelphia, and Toronto, and were 1-1 with everyone else except the aforementioned Nets.

Code: Select all

Team Record	Remaining
---- ------	---------

Minnesota	2-1
NO Pelicans	2-1
OK City 2-1
Portland 3-0
Sacramento	2-1

We will still get a chance to win the season series against the Nets.

I like the positivity. If we take the season series against the Clippers and Nuggets along the way as well, all the better.

This was the first game I missed every second of because it was a 3am tipoff here. I don't know how anyone in Europe regularly watches the NBA.

Looking at the box score, maybe I should not watch more Suns games.
