My favorite was when Cliff Paul lulled the Nuggets to sleep for 3 quarters then Chris Paul dropped 14 in the 4th. Love watching this team battle

It’s round one of this matchup. Teams feeling each other out a little bit like a prize fight. If Ayton can continue to guard Jokić 1 on 1 this well, this series is over. The Nuggets will respond and I agree with Virtual, they will try hard to get Ayton in foul trouble. This year against Jokić, Ayton was foul free and picked up one this game. It doesn’t appear as if fouls will be that huge an issue so far. That can change. I didn’t get Booker guarding Gorden either. Not sure if that was the plan or Booker just kept getting switched onto Gorden by Denver design.

I think they worked to get that switch to make Booker work on the defensive end, and that was a good strategy.

In the fourth when we mounted our run, it was pretty clear to me that Denver was missing its depth. Campazzo is nice and all but he missed quite a few shots while we were hitting shot after shot, and Jokic was the only one that you kind of worried about when he had the ball.

I hope we step on their throats quickly before Barton even gets his conditioning back.

The one foul he did get was weak too.
