Silver lining is that he hasn't been ruled out yet but not getting my hopes up. The team will be prepared either way and having the week to practice and gameplan was big.
Paul didn’t have the week to practice.
I doubt he needs it. But the team and coaches could practice and gameplan knowing Paul might not play. It's not like he practiced all week and then came up positive today leaving us to adjust everything for tomorrow. I listened to the press conference and Monty just said it's all day to day at this point.
“Out” is simply the required designation on the injury report for someone who is currently “out” due to being in the protocols. It does not mean that he has been ruled out or that there is no chance he will play tomorrow.

I like the optimism.
Are you allowed to change it like that? I thought there was a gradation (probably>questionable>doubtful>out) and you couldn't go from out to available in one day.

Harden was listed as "out" for Game 5 the day before he returned. Like I said, I don't think they're allowed to list Paul as anything except "out" when he's still in the protocols. For example, if they're waiting on tests (PCR and/or cardiac), how can they know whether he'll be cleared?

Bad match up to start with. Without CP3? Impossible.
Keep 'em coming, Worm!
Really Worm? Jeesh. Forever the optimist. I mean, they don't have Kawhi Leonard and you still want to call it impossible if CP3 is out?

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
