Wow, what a rock fight. 84-80. ESPN said that's the lowest score for a winning team this entire season, regular season or playoffs. I'm proud that we can win a game like this. Nothing was falling; our 3s have all but abandoned us. Our entire starting lineup hit one 3 for the whole game (Crowder: 1-6), and nobody on the team hit more than one 3 tonight. Luckily we still found enough points to pull it out and were able to limit the Clips' scoring.

Book had 25 points to lead us, and Ayton filled the stat sheet with a huge 19 point, 22 rebound (9 offensive), 4 block game. I thought Bridges also played really well, playing a lot of intense defense and nabbing 13 rebounds and 2 blocks. The only three Suns to shoot any FTs tonight were Ayton (3), Paul (7), and Booker (11), 21 total, and many of those were at the end from intentional fouls. By contrast, 6 Clipper players shot FTs, 32 total.

I hate the way the series is being officiated, especially the last 2 games. They just let the Clippers guards manhandle our guys, pushing, shoving, slapping, hacking. They never call it, and then if our guy pushes back at all, the Clipper guy does a gigantic flop and the ref calls the foul on us. BS. I hate the way Beverley is being allowed to defend Booker. He's clearly being physically intimidating and talking trash and yelling at Book, a bunch of stuff that I think is extracurricular and not basketball.

The Clippers are a really good team. They're missing probably their best player and are still giving us a lot of trouble. If they had Kawhi, I think we'd probably lose this series. We're lucky to get to face them under these circumstances.

I hope the 3s start falling again in Game 5 at home. I really want to put these guys away. Scared that if we lose Game 5, Game 6 would be an absolute slugfest in LA, and who knows what could happen next. Let's take care of business on Monday.

The first half defense was fantastic. The third quarter was bad but the Clippers also starting taking the ball to the rim. The fourth quarter was a rock fight.

If we win this series, I'll go back and try to count how many shots both teams had fall halfway down and out in the fourth quarter. It seemed like no fewer than 6 combined.
