I was driving to work after the win and explaining to my wife how this board had blown up and explaining why we are all so emotional.
Then I got really choked up as I recounted MEE & Swing’s influence on us all and how they had been remembered at such a precious time for us all.
This board is amazing and has been in all its iterations over the years.

I’m going to watch the full game back when I finish work later with my son, who is now 16 and another Suns fan to our ranks. I love that I can share this with him as I’ve not had this chance in all my time as a fan. (NBA in the UK wasn’t really a thing until October 93 the next year after we were lost in the finals)

Even after this win the refs and commentators still left such a horrible taste. Fuck you NBA.

It was frustrating having to mix anger with celebration that whole second half. Beverley should be banned from the NBA for life, especially after doing that to Chris Paul walking to the Suns huddle!

And the Stub Hub fee was ridiculous!!! I’m at a place in my life where I can afford to do this. Like I’ve been telling everybody, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Either that or we’re part of a 10 year Suns dynasty but I probably shouldn’t count on that.

I think it will be terrific that Al McCoy gets to call Suns games as they play for the championship.
A great reward as his legendary career is in its sunset years.
He so deserves it after enduring all the dreck of the past 10 years.

Wouldn’t that be a great swan song?! Although, I’m not sure he ever wants to retire. He’s 88 years old!
