I was at boy scout camp. I was 12.

Im now 40.

I was 30 and thought that they'd be going to the Finals for years with Barkley and KJ!

You and me both! That’s why I just spent a fortune on Game 1 tickets and changed my vacation plans. As long as it’s been since the last time we were in the finals, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. But I’m hoping for the 10 year Suns dynasty!

This is incredible. But also it's giving me so much anxiety I can't tweet or post during games really. I might not survive the finals. Too invested.

I don’t want to get ahead of myself but I really do think the finals will be easier. At least we won’t be playing 5 on 8.

I really feel like we’ve already played the best teams. Our first NBA championship finally feels like such a great possibility. So hard to keep my expectations in check! Crazy how the emotions change from game to game. We were so high after Game 4 and then so low after Game 5. Tonight? Delirium!!!

What a night! I’ve been on the phone ever since the game ended! Family, friends, you name it. Even FaceTimed with my mom and showed her the end of the game and postgame interviews and WCF ceremony. Finally catching up with this thread and then I still have all the post game press conferences to watch! I’m not getting any work done tomorrow. What a night! So happy to celebrate with you all. Hope to see some of you in Phoenix before Game 1!!!!!!!!!

I remember we talked about that. What a great sound bite to have at the end of this journey. Can’t wait to watch the Phoenix Suns NBA Champions special. Go to the parade. Oops…I might be getting a little ahead of things.

He said in the postgame interview he had an MRI yesterday on his wrist and until tonight it looked like he was hesitant to shoot.

That's less than great.

It is. But he shot so well tonight! So I have hope especially with the rest before Game 1 of the NBA Championship series. Just had to write that out. FEELS SO GOOD!

We did it! The Suns are going to the finals! I never thought I’d say that again in my lifetime. Especially not on the night of my 40th birthday. After all the pain and suffering, what a gift!

That is awesome! That means you have to have a beer with us while you are in town. I’m probably not supposed to have beer yet but, I’ll make an exemption for you. I’m not supposed to drive yet either but, would figure that out.

We definitely need a big get together if the unthinkable happens and we manage to win it all.

Let’s do it! I’ll pick you up. I’m flying in Monday night so I’ll be there if the game is on Tuesday. It will be Tuesday or Thursday. I’ll be staying at my mom’s place and I’ll have access to her car.

You really want to know? It’s almost embarrassing but I had thought about it before we actually did it and advanced to the NBA Finals and knew as a life-long Suns fan, I had to go to a game no matter the cost. Especially with these insane Suns fan crowds we’ve been having.

Ok, here’s the breakdown: Tickets were $2250 each with the additional INSANE fees of $1267! This was via Stub Hub and then they sent me the tickets via Ticketmaster.

Thank you for the kind words. Oh, man. I was so ready to move on from Game 5 and get to Game 6 that I just had to do it straight away. It was the first game thread I had done since we had gone round robin. And what a game to do it on!
