Love it! I’m glad they didn’t ask us if that was a good idea. Now the Grizz just need to transfer Beverly to Siberia.

Maybe Bledsoe can give him some pointers on how to tweet his way out of a franchise. I wish nothing but the worst for Pat Bev.

Wow. PatBev leaving LAC is honestly a big deal. He was a huge part of how they made things tough for us and CP3. I'm less scared of them without him. What are they thinking bringing Eric Bledsoe back? He is garbage.

I don’t even begin to understand why the Clippers make this trade.

Because Patrick Beverley will ultimately do something dumb that will shame the whole club.

Eric Bledsoe is also a better player than him.

Bledsoe kinda sucks and should be playing with Paul George. They're made for each other. PatBev was part of the identity of that team so losing him will change the dynamic of the Clips. My longterm "concern" would be the Grizzlies being a lower playoff seed and us matching up with them and having to deal with Beverley in the 1st round. But who knows if the Grizz even keep him or what his role would be there.

Uh, I guess. Probably not by much. Bled dogged it in NOLA bad and his defense has largely disappeared.

The trade evaluation on ESPN is not about hoops, but centered around the $6mill the Clippers are saving in the trade, that translates into $30mill savings on taxes, and how Bledsoe’s contract is only $3.9 guaranteed for the season after this. My guess is that LA is punting the season to wait for Kawhi, any thing they get from Bledsoe in the court is gravy.

If not even ESPN can’t pump this trade up, no one can.

I wonder how much Beverly’s antics in the playoffs played into their decision to trade him.

A Bledsoe-Beverley swap seems like mostly a wash to me. Yes Bledsoe didn’t play defense for NOLA, but he mostly stopped playing defense for us too, before going to Milwaukee and becoming an All-Defense type guy again. As a backup pg for LAC, I think he’ll do fine. He can do more as a ball handler than Beverley…not as good a shooter though.

Pretty sure that this had entirely to do with the fact that the Clippers saved $30 mil in luxury tax with the deal and nothing more. Imo, this made the Clipper worse.

Ya it was definitely a money thing..I just don’t think there’s really a downgrade from Beverley to Bledsoe.

It's a definite downgrade in nastiness.

It's a huge downgrade. Beverley was a terror on defense and single handedly shut down Chris Paul in multiple games, including injuring him and possibly costing us a title. Bledsoe won't even be able to stay on the court against CP3. I would have been delighted to face him instead of Bev in this year's playoff series against the Clips.

I think the Clipper that injured Paul, was Terrence Mann with a karate chop disguised as a steal attempt. From that very moment Paul started rubbing his finger and wrist. Next game he was wearing that black bandaid

Will this be our first Christmas Day game since who knows when? Maybe a finals rematch?

Of course not. It will be another disrespect thrown our way by the league. Nets-Bucks and Warriors-Lakers

if you are the league, you have to want your champion and finals MVP playing, and you need to have Lebron playing.
