I miss Dragic as our point guard, and the Dragic/Green onslaught from last year. Of course, without Frye spacing out the floor, who knows how effective Dragic would be anyways. I would still prefer to see the ball in his hands more often then not, regardless of Bledsoe's assist numbers. IT is fine off the bench, Bledsoe needs to be traded ASAP for a big man. Dragic/Green/Tucker/Bigman/Len with IT, TJ and Archie, the Morrii and Plumlee off the bench sounds pretty damn good to me right now.

Yeah, it was his best game ever. We need to get some chemistry working between him and our POINT GUARD Goran Dragic. Dragic can run a pick and roll. Does Bledsoe even have the IQ to play true Suns style PG?INFORMER wrote:Encouraged? Len putting up 17/11 against DeAndre Jordan is nothing short of awesome. It definitely exceeds encouraging.

We were better off watching the Bakersfield Jam games this weekend. Warre with games of 40 and 29 points. Ennis with games of 29 and then 19 with 10 assist.

Depressing game. As others have pointed out, the stars really aligned just right so that several of our big offseason signings (Morrii, Bledsoe) had bad games at the same time. IT3 had good numbers, though.
Chris Paul's line was insane: 32 points on 10-13 shooting, 5-6 on threes; 9 assists; 5 boards; 2 steals. Oof. But the Clips bench was mostly horrible, other than Spencer Hawes, who was a sneaky good offseason signing.

It sure feels like this roster isn't right. I just hate watching them play offense; they have no flow and almost every play devolves into some guy going 1-on-1. I don't get it. Really wish they would figure out how to set picks, pass, things of that nature.

the morris twins contract arent the problem. signing the redundant bledsoe to a long and expensive contract is.INFORMER wrote:Well first, don't put it all on Ryan. I think Babby had a lot to do with making such a substantial commitment to the Morris Twins.iLLmatic wrote:I'm still confused why we tied up $126 million in those 3 players. Did McD make those sh*tty choices because he's scared that the quality of talent on the roster would have declined? Now we have close to zero cap flexibility and our team sucks ass.

too funny, sdc.... i just came here to post that I stand by my original feelings, and that we would have been better off letting him walk for nothing, then signing him to that big and that long of a contract, for this kind of production, all to the detriment of what should be our leader and cornerstone player.
*Edit* It also takes playing time and experience away from Archie, Zoran and Ennis, who could all be filling in with the extra time at guard.

by the end of mcdo's reign, he will be considered a worse gm than his predecessor. the first year accomplishments of mcdo was just an accident that he didnt deserve (good thing he did not win the EOTY).

The refs destroyed us in the 3Q. It was brutal. They wouldn't call a foul against them unless it was the third time they hit someone in the same play, then exactly the opposite on the other side of the court. Many Jordan's 'blocks' were a joke. Barnes 'defends' with his hands and his hips and no calls. Unbelievable.OE32 wrote:We imploded after Kieff went out with that 4th foul.
I wanted less PJ and more IT3 early in the 3Q as he is the best we have at drawing contact. Green must be ordered not to shoot when there is nobody to grab the rebound. Hornacek's timeouts were iffy for the second game in a row. And of course, Bledsoe's scoring output was a putrid 1 point so assists and less TOs don't make up for that.

Really liked Len. He displayed the agility that made him our pick. Still too weak under the basket on offense if he has no inertia, but it's encouraging.

SDC are you kidding me? Gtfo. McD has been, and continues to be, exactly what this team needed. He gutted the bad personalities and toxic contracts, flushed the team full of young assets, and is in, oh yeah, YEAR 2.
Len is coming along very nicely, Warren is going to be a steal, you do that Green/Plumlee deal every day of the week, you trade a second and Dudley for Bledose twice a day every day of the week.
You can debate the Bledsoe and Morri deals, that's fine. But remember that people thought we overpaid Nash as well as Goran when they signed. Give it time.
No way does McD look worse than Blanks EVER.

The Bledsoe deal will be a very movable deal going forward. That contract preserved an asset. Be patient. We are not contenders and I'm sorry if your feelings are hurt because you thought we were and it isn't panning out the way you hoped. Poor you. But this is how you build a roster. It takes time.

Some are really into the drama and love to overreact.ShelC wrote:I don't get all the McD hate. I really don't.
A couple of months back, a number of folks thought Len was a wasted pick. He posts a double-double, and now he should be in the starting lineup, playing 30 minutes a game.
The wind shifts and some automatically hoist the jolly roger for the new direction ...
Well, so much for hopes and dreams ...

Admittedly, I sometimes hoist the jolly rancher as well.
