Beat me to it .. another injury - the joys of being >40yo - means golf is cancelled today. Upside is I get to watch this uninterrupted.

Thanks for making the thread. This should be a fun one. I think we can beat these guys, though Durant and Harden always give us trouble. GO SUNS!

Harden, Durant, LMA is quite the starting lineup on paper.
Kyrie Irving lol.
Kyrie Irving lol.

Book and Mikal played a lot last night so hopefully they have some legs tonight. Jae only played 20 minutes bc of foul trouble so he should be relatively fresh for Durant. Aldridge has had some good games for them recently so he's someone to keep an eye on. Maybe Ish sees some minutes off the bench tonight?

Great start
Obviously the Nets scoring can be formidable and must be respected but when I saw a starting lineup with Harden, Mills and Aldridge.....
Just too many matchups we could exploit imo so glad we doing that

Nets cold from 3. KD and Harden haven't done much damage and we're defending KD real well, making him a passer. Book with 16 in the 1st qtr, McGee with about 5 rebounds on possession before he finally got the putback.
Crowder 0-3 so he may be hitting a funk again and Cam Johnson looks a little tired IMO trying to guard KD.

5 steals in the first half already, his best for a half is 6 .. according to the commentator

Suns ice cold - big lead now down to 7
Re: Game Day: Suns (16-3) @ Nets (14-5), Saturday 11/27/21
We've missed about 10 shots in a row. Nets defense tightened up but I think we collectively hit a wall in the 2nd qtr.

Nets are good, but Suns lost some poise late in the 2nd.

Shades of the Finals there
Nets got more physical on the perimeter and we were struggling to break them down n create good looks. Really huge buckets by CP3 to get the lead back to 10.
Half time was needed, Nets definitely had us out of sorts last few minutes.
Will tip my hat for their 2nd quarter D but don't like that we got out hustled so much

Ayton needs to put his big boy pants on ... 2 pts, 3 rebs.

The Nets rotation has been good to take away the initial roll to the basket but it still leaves him guarded by a smaller player. Think we've missed him sealing a couple timesLazarusLong wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 6:44 pmAyton needs to put his big boy pants on ... 2 pts, 3 rebs.
