Won't be relying on Zion ... Williamson's foot still sore ...

Yup, standing alone at the very top of the NBA standings is YOUR Phoenix Suns!

I'm sure it's not coincidence that Embiid will try to generate chatter about his guy after their win

Thybulle is incredible…He and Jrue are the best perimeter defenders I’ve seen. Mikal is longer and a little more versatile perhaps, but I think Jrue and Matisse are more disruptive defenders.

AD looks overweight to me this season. His body seems heavy, tethered to the ground, slow to move laterally. It's funny because he really isn't that old; he's only 28. But you'd think he was 33 from his body language.

If he's going to have any longevity in the league and shed the Street Clothes nickname, he's going to have to learn how to take care of his body and make it a priority.

He bulked up in part as a response to that criticism. He didn't exactly go the Zion route, a lot of the weight he added is muscle.
I don't know if it'll be good for him. He was at his best when he was lanky with more bounce, a less explosive Giannis.

Of course you've heard of the pick and roll, well, here's the less known trip and roll:

I heard a rumor that most of the Bulls aren't vaccinated. I don't know the validity to that claim.

I'm curious how much or little vaccination is affecting the speed at which infected players are able to return to playing games. The assumption is that vaccinated players are able to return more quickly, but I'd like to see the data.
Apparently the entire Hornets roster has been vaccinated, but Terry Rozier will be available in their next game while LaMelo Ball will remain out. They were infected at the same time.

I believe the rule is either 10 days or 2 negative tests. Perhaps Rozier had 2 negative tests alreadyFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:12 pmI'm curious how much or little vaccination is affecting the speed at which infected players are able to return to playing games. Oh for sure, I know the rule. I'm curious if there's any correlation between vaccination and the length of time to return two negative tests, and why vaccinated players return negative tests earlier or later than others.Split T wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:41 pmI believe the rule is either 10 days or 2 negative tests. I’m pretty sure in general it’s been shown that the vaccinated recover faster than the unvaccinated.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 12:54 amOh for sure, I know the rule. When two vaccinated teammates are infected on the same day but one produces two negative tests before the other. I want to know the data on that.Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 1:48 amI’m pretty sure in general it’s been shown that the vaccinated recover faster than the unvaccinated.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 12:54 amOh for sure, I know the rule. Re: Around the League Week 8 (12/6 - 12/12)
I thought they had to be vaccinated to play. Is that wrong? They can play unvaxxed so long as they take frequent tests, or something?
