Payne making some of these shots more difficult than they need to be

Lakers are masters of hitting their defenders in the face with their offhand.

No surprise but Cam Payne’s PER is down to 12.9 this year from 17.4 last year.

True Shooting % from .602 to .497.

And just like that it's a turnover and a blown layup for Cam.

I’d be sitting him down for a quality not quantity chat soon as he’s scoring more - 10.5ppg vs 8.4ppg - from last year as well ..

And just like that an 8-0 run and we’re up by 20.

Talking about Cam Payne, timeline podcast brought up a good point. He was used to playing with a floor spacing big in Dario/Frank. That gave him more space to finish. Now he’s playing with Javale and has more defenders crowding the rim. Hopefully he figures it out, but they mentioned it kinda works because Javale cleans up so many of his misses. So Payne looks bad, but Javale is covering for it, haha

And just like that nothing unexpected is happening against these old, busted fakers .. too young, too fast, too good .. olè!

How many times will these officials blow the whistle only when a Laker groans after their terribly missed shot?

I wish we could just take a game and tell Ayton he has to try and dunk everything. Don’t care how many he misses or how many offensive fouls or turnovers he gets, just let him try. Maybe something would click and he’d realize how much more dangerous of a weapon that could make him.

Looks like we're putting them away. Good. Luck the Fakers! Seven guys in double-figures tonight.

Kinda love seeing Bridges shoot 5/17. He needs to shoot more. Also went 5/9 after starting 0/8.

Book and Cam went 10/19 from 3. Rest of team was 2/22

The only important stats from tonight's game - Suns 1 win, Lakers 1 loss.

After starting ice cold, Suns win by 18. In L.A.

Very satisfying.

The Lakers love for him is perplexing. He’s not a terrible prospect, but they let Caruso go to keep him around. Pretty bad decision
