Jalen Smith delivered an epic poster over Mason Plumlee on Sunday night. But more importantly, Smith, who has been forced into action because of health and safety protocols hitting Phoenix, has made the most of his time. In the past four games, Smith is averaging 16 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while shooting 56.1% from the field -- all while not hitting 30 minutes in any game. -- Lopez
Thanks for making the threads, Split T. Really appreciate it.
Still can't believe that Kyrie is going to play. It's so awkward that he can play in only half the games. I hope BKN gets a 1st round playoff matchup with a team where Kyrie literally can't play at all; that would be hilarious.

Trae, Derozan, KD, Giannis, Embiid with
FVV, Jrue, LaVine, Harden, Jimmy, Allen and 1 spot left open. Herring went Tatum, Lowe didn’t pick but seemed to be leaning Garland or LaMelo I think
Curry, Mitchell, LeBron, Jokic, Gobert with
Paul, Booker, Draymond, KAT, Ja and two spots left open. Both seemed like they would give Luka one of the last spots. Both were out on Lillard this year. Lowe seemed to think Ayton would be the guy to get in as he’s the best 3rd option between PHX/GS/Utah
One thought I’ll throw in, I really wish we could go away from giving players spots based on reputation. For instance, no chance Lillard would get in with his stats if he wasn’t Dame. Same with AD, Paul George, or Luka. I don’t care that they have been all-stars in the past. They’ve been majorly inefficient this year and have missed large amounts of games and/or are on bad basketball teams. I’m sure 1 or 2 of them will get in, but I’d leave them out in favor of someone like Ayton or Dejounte Murray this year.
No Breaking News here
Well maybe as I felt it might be harsher
So 2 players are the problem? Sounds like a coaching issue. I see a change soon.
Porter had similar issues in Cleveland, so I think the problem is the players and the person acquiring the players {Rafael Stone].
Stephen Silas may very well be held accountable, but more for the Rockets' horrible W-L record than anything else.

This isn't the first time a player has refused to sub into a game during garbage time or whatever (Wood) but Porter Jr. literally getting in his car and leaving the arena at halftime is wild to me. How you only get suspended one game for that is interesting.

I think the precedent is for suspensions to be short. You look back at the history of player suspensions and they only get a few games for even strong offenses like fighting. So if you slap a guy with a 5 game suspension for being a brat, the NBA Players Association will crack down on you and point out that you're being meaner than precedent.
