Jalen had some lapses but I believe overall he wasn't a net negative and surely contributed in key stretches.
He has his limitations but so does Biz and we needed just enough from both guys to pull this one off.

Again for Paschall to absolutely bully Jalen on the first play and he responded with 2 blks in quick succession. All you can ask is the kid battle especially when being dwarfed by Whiteside

expect he'd be rubbish after getting no minutes for a while ... we've seen before he needs consistent time to build confidence.

Wow, what a start! I’m only half way through the first quarter though. Plus, I’ve never heard so many Suns fans in Utah before!

Well thank goodness for Book. Paul didn’t have it tonight but he pulled enough out in the 4th to bring us home.

Clarkson went bonkers from 3, jazz seemed to go away from him…that and Whiteside being an awful nba player was helpful.

Stix has trouble defending the pnr as a drop man…probably because we’ve tried to play him as a 4 for a year and a half. He does good in iso, but got picked apart in the pick n roll.

Also, I hope Book didn’t hurt himself on that vicious dunk!

This game showed the value of Ayton…the Jazz were denying the pass right at the rim and forcing us to get the ball to Biyombo outside the restricted area…he is pretty useless there. Those would have been almost automatic touch shots for Ayton.

I have my issues with him, but at the very least he would have been a 2nd source of offense in those middle quarters that we could have gone to. Jazz did a wonderful job limiting good looks from 3 and that would have been much harder with the pressure Ayton puts on the rim.

Bridges and Johnson seemed more aggressive early and were rolling in that 1st Q, both kinda disappeared the rest of the game offensively though.

And then the Suns only score 11 or 12 in the 2nd while the Jazz cut it to 2. SMH.

Book is so unselfish. Could have easily had 50 but was happy deferring you CP in the 4th because he had the advantage.

Best start in Suns history I believe.

Not bad….

Why we letting a Jazz team without Rudy and Mitchell hang in with us? Awesome 1st Q followed by a garbage 2nd Q
In fairness, we were missing Ayton, McGee, Crowder, and Payne.

I did not. Understatement of the year and uncoincidentally, the Suns worst quarter of the season.

Those two losses to below .500 teams were both in October during our 1-3 start(Portland and Sacramento). 19-0 since then.
