Re: Russia/Ukraine
what the hell is feeding your brain?
Re: Russia/Ukraine
LOL, wow. I opened the first video and couldn't believe it. You're actually believing this stuff implying that NATO and Ukraine are the evil bad guys? That's seriously sad, man. Read the room, dude. Like 87 countries are united in condemning Russia for their unprovoked attack on Ukraine. You're on the wrong side here.
Re: Russia/Ukraine
I love all this stuff about, "You guys did a mean bad by saying Ukraine could maybe join NATO! Grr!" Like, countries can join NATO if they want to join NATO. If they have met the requirements, request membership, and get voted in, they can join. There isn't some kind of no-backsies deal where you promise *not* to join NATO for N years and then can't change your mind. That doesn't make any sense.
Re: Russia/Ukraine
The World vs Russia and Trump supporters who support Russia because Trump does. I have never in my entire lifetime seen a Republican say one nice thing about Russia, let alone support them over their own country when they invade another country until Trump became best friends with Putin. Weird times indeed.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
What does "Mutual Assured Destruction" mean to you?
Does Russia not have a right to make sure that Nuclear weapons aren't placed right next door, like the US didn't want to happen during the Cuban Missile Crisis?
You know that the agreement was that Ukraine would get rid of their Nukes if they also don't join NATO, right? It feels like your knowledge of history and what's been going on in this part of the country is less than surface deep.
Which one of these is true? The Ghost jet fighter story; The Snake island 13 story; The Russian tank story

Re: Russia/Ukraine
Another unnecessary Trump reference. He really does live in some people's heads. He's also said what's happening in Ukraine is bad, but err...Trump! Screech!!!!Nodack wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 10:48 amThe World vs Russia and Trump supporters who support Russia because Trump does. Re: Russia/Ukraine
Unbelievable. What has happened to this country? It's a massive brainwashing the likes of which we have never seen. It's a cult on a major scale.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
The thing about the above tweet is that it tries to move the goalposts of the argument in a deceptive way. Nobody is saying "Russia Bad" or "Ukraine Good" in some kind of absolute way. Countries are imperfect and contain mixtures of good and bad qualities. But even if Ukraine has done some "bad" things in its history, or Russia has done some "good" ones, how the heck do you get from that to implying that it is okay to invade Ukraine with tanks, planes, ships, soldiers, bombs, etc.? Exploding their buildings, burning their museums, running over cars with tanks, etc. What exactly does a country have to do to deserve that? The tweet completely tries to sidestep that question and insert doubt about Ukraine. They're not all "good." Yeah. See? They DESERVE to be invaded and have their people murdered. (???)“Russia bad, Ukraine good” is the 2022 iteration of 2020’s “You want granny to die!”. No nuance, no willingness to understand the nuance of a complex situation, & reflective demonizing of anybody who wants to understand/discuss nuance, or who dares question the MSM orthodoxy.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
In2, I know you are an intelligent guy. Are you really going to die on this hill? Defending a brutal dictator's invasion of another country without provocation? Even large chunks of your precious Republican party aren't supportive of the invasion. Trump (stupidly) is, and that brings some of the GOP along with him. But lots of GOP leaders and bigwigs have come out saying that this invasion is wrong. The whole world is uniting against Russia because there is simply no justification for what they are doing. Are you really on Team Putin?

Why hasn't Russia turned off the water and power of Ukraine and Kyiv? Seems like you would do that if you did a massive "invasion" to murder their people.

I'm not team Putin, lol. I'm not team Zelensky either. I'm not team Fox or team CNN. Do you have to be totally sold out to everything your party says? Is that how you work?

Re: Russia/Ukraine
I don't know? War is complicated? Why is "invasion" in quotes? Do you think it is not an invasion? If so, what do you think Russia has done to Ukraine exactly? What words would you use to describe it?
Re: Russia/Ukraine
It's because it's not an invasion. They aren't invading to punish and murder the Ukrainian people. These are precision attacks at military targets with respect to keeping civilian casualties at a bare minimum. Who does it hurt if they shut down the water and electricity? The people.
Are they indiscriminately bombing the city or cities to get mass casualties and force Zelensky to surrender? No, that's pretty obvious. Ukraine is a beautiful country and they aren't trying to turn it into a 3rd world hell hole.
You seriously can not believe a thing that's being told by the media.

Re: Russia/Ukraine
Most of the planet supports Ukraine’s fight against Russia. There is Russia and Trump supporters who support the Russian invasion. Even FOX News is 100% anti-Russia on this issue. Not even all of Russia supports Putins war. There are protests all over Russia and the planet protesting Russia’s invasion.
You say you aren’t really a Trump supporter but It’s very obvious you are. I don’t know what sources you use for news but, they are clearly aligned with Trump and his bizarre stances. It’s just so weird to see pro Russian Republicans nowadays. They are the ones calling all the other Republicans RINO’s.
The Republican party definitely has a messaging problem right now. Half their party thinks Russia is an evil empire and the other half thinks Russia and Putin are great. Half their party thinks Jan 6 was an insurrection and the other half thinks it was great. They need to split their party into two parties because they are definitely NOT on the same page.
