They just got punked for 10 minutes straight and have yet to come back from a double digit lead in this series, IIRC.

So basically, this one is over.
THERE’S the attitude we’ve been looking for. Sure hope the team has more resolve than you.
Judging by their resolve in Games 3 and 4 on the road. They don't.

I can appreciate optimism and faith, but I don't know how anyone can deny the stuff we just watched.

Suns are struggling to get stops and have reverted into leaning on Booker to create everything. Cliff Paul is still with us and no one else is capable of taking on a scoring load.

Way too soon for that. They will come back and beat them in the second half.
OK, Jeremy, SunsRIt, and me. Let’s go!

Up until about halfway through the 2nd quarter, I liked how things were going. I liked that the Mavs seemed dependent on Luka and Brunson for most of their offense. I think that's the path to victory, to stop all the other guys and force Luka to put the whole team on his pudgy shoulders.

But then everything fell apart. Book and CP3 struggled a bunch with the trapping and doubles and the looks the defense was throwing at them. They coughed up a ton of turnovers that led to easy baskets. Then the Mavs broke it open and other guys like Bullock and Finney-Smith and Kleber start hitting their 3s. That's when the Mavs are hard to beat. I noticed that the Suns took hardly any 3s; they never really found open shooters behind the arc. Hard to win when we are taking contested 2s and turning it over, and they are taking open 3s.

We're down pretty big at the half, but I don't think the game is over. Make some adjustments at halftime and come out and have a big third quarter. We can still do this.
OK, Marty can join our group too.

Like I mentioned
It has to be Mikal

Reading this board, you’d think Ayton is 100% at fault for how the game is going, even tho he’s our leading scorer, shooting 5-7, and keeps having to scramble for others blown assignments.

Not Booker, who might’ve had his worst quarter this playoffs.

Not Paul, who outside of a few plays is having another bad performance for his 4th straight game.

Not Mikal, who’s has been a dud on offense today, and if we’re being honest, for most of games this series it feels like.

Not our no show bench again.

Nope, it’s just all Ayton’s fault cuz he didn’t dunk on this one play and because Luka scored on him a couple plays when he was switched on him. It’s not like Luka one of the best offensive players in the NBA or anything.

Listen guys, I get the Ayton criticism, there’s plenty of valid shit to say but reading this thread where every other post seems like a post about how him and how he’s been shitty when he kind of been one of the good things in this game, is really annoying, especially when he’s not even top 5 reason why are fucking sucking right now.

I don't know what you're talking about with this. I haven't really seen anyone complain about Ayton in this game.

Chris Paul woke up 37 the other day and realized he's 37.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
