NBA Playoffs WCSF, Game 7: Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns (3-3), Sunday 15/05/22
Re: NBA Playoffs WCSF, Game 7: Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns (3-3), Sunday 15/05/22
To paraphrase Blackadder: it started badly, the end was terrible and the less said about the middle, the better.
Just an absolute gut punch to the team and franchise. This will take a long time to get over.

That was a preview of our fall from grace.Wally_West wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 5:26 pmHonestly, if we’re gonna lose, I’d prefer if just lost to the pelicans. Get the season over with instead of prolonging this shit.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

You know, this actually makes the playoff losses to the Rockets somehow hurt less for me, for some reason. So there's that.

The silver lining is that Robert Sarver deserves this.

At least coach won COTY. The real one that matters.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

There was no reason to finish the season the way we did, just lazy, no reason to go 6 with a 36 win team in round 1, they just lost their mojo. It's all gone, they looked like the prime Spurs til Cam J got hurt, then it all kinda went to shit
Love, Hurts.

This one resembles the surgical job Cotton Fitzsimmons did on John MacLeod in the 1981 playoffs.

Seems like there’s a reason has led 4 different franchises to record regular seasons and made 1 NBA Finals appearance

Monty is basically Doc Rivers now. Man cannot close or make adjustments. Crap. I really like the guy.
