This my main hope but Nets won’t be contending anytime soon, just getting the best player available is good enough perhaps, even if it’s a division rival. I’m hoping you’re right though.

How about if Cavs agree to sign and trade Sexton?
Sexton agrees to a 4yr/100 contract so basically go like this

Cavs get: Cam Payne, Crowder, unprotected 1st from Suns, 1 draft pick swap from Suns.
Nets get: Sexxxton, Cam Johnson, Shamet, Dario. 3 1st round picks from Suns, 1 first round draft swap, 3 seconds from Suns. The Film & television rights to Kevin Durant’s feature film debut(and cult classic film!) Thunderstruck

Suns get: Kevin Durant.

I actually think Indiana is the Suns best bet since the Pacers are under the cap. I think vets like Buddy Hield and Malcolm Brogdon would appeal to Brooklyn. Myles Turner pairs well with Ben Simmons.
