Good. Now, offer them Cam J and a boatload of picks

Came to post the same thing…Marks may feel better about a rebuild now that he’s got his extension.

Yep, this. Now with the Marks extension, I’m starting to this this gets done within the next couple weeks.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Suns will end up with KD on top of Ayton...let's see. Dealing Houston into the deal to get NJN picks back may be the key, because those picks are far more valuable to NJN than anyone else...restores their incentive to tank.

the original article and tweet from a verified Nets reporter is still up and live. And he is also retweeting the reports that it isn't true. wtf

It was supposed to be a secret. They didn't want Phoenix to know about it.

Fascinating. Suggests internal conflict within the organization.

Do you think the Heat would give up a 1st for Jae Crowder that we could send to Brooklyn? Looking at their roster, they don’t really have a matching contract though. If we send them Crowder and Craig, they could send Duncan Robinson. His contract is awful though. I can’t imagine Brooklyn would want any part of it. We could conceivably take it on, but I’d want 2 1sts.

Miami - Crowder, Craig
Phoenix - KD, Duncan Robinson
Brooklyn - Mikal, Saric, Payne, 5 1sts(3 from us, 2 from Mia)

We tell Brooklyn they can have 6 1sts, but they have to take Robinson instead of Saric and Payne.

I like Robinson, I don't think his contract is that bad if you're using him, for some weird reason, he just fell out of favor in Miami.

If I understand, the Nets want Mitchell, no? So, a 3 way with them getting Mitchell seeks to be the logical path to try to make something work...

The Jazz have Mitchell, but the Nets and Heat would both love Mitchel if that’s what you meant

It would be, but we’d need to find somewhere for Simmons to go.

How does everyone feel about our chances at having KD to start the season now?

I think I’m about 45/45/10. 45% he’s in Phoenix, 45% he’s in Brooklyn, 10% some mystery team manages to convince KD to play there and they top our deal.

I don't think it benefits the Nets to just sit a guy that has no interest in being there. He will end up in Phoenix before the season.
Love, Hurts.
