CP3 would be the right mind for an owner. He is so invested in future players in the NBA. I could see that mindset growing from the top down in terms of professionalism into a successful franchise. But that’s all just fantasy. Just happy we can all move on.

Thank you. That is the first thing I noticed. He also says "...outweighed by things I have said in the past." Last week, he apologized for his actions and he even admitted the pantsing incident last fall.

Strange that he would now make it sound like it was "just words."

Yeah, regardless of exactly how awful one thinks Sarver's various words and deeds were, his various statements and apologies are really lacking. He doesn't really take ownership and responsibility, he doesn't unconditionally apologize, he sounds defensive and blames how others received his behavior more than the behavior itself. He also implies that all of this was long, long ago, when actually some of the incidents were as recent as 1-2 years ago.

I talked previously about giving people opportunities to learn and show growth after they make mistakes or hurt others. But Sarver does not seem to be doing that; he's denying culpability and blaming the situation on others being oversensitive or overreacting. It doesn't sound like he has internalized a lesson from the mess he's in. Maybe someday he'll get there, but for now, he isn't even close. I guess I shouldn't have expected better from him, but it sucks to see that.

Bottom line is, I'll be happy to see him go, for a wide variety of reasons. It's time for #SarverOUT to finally become a reality. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
