I think Lee is intriguing as a potential smallball 4 but if he's got hitting 3s there's no point. But I think Monty may see him as a PJ Tucker/Crowder type eventually. Landale's got some nice instincts and bounce, he may even work well with the starters a bit like Frank and Dario used to.
That’s not Lee’s game at all. He’s way to small to play the 4 in any lineup. I barely trust him to defend 3s.
Yeah, I was very confused by this. He's barely a 3.

What's hilarious is that everyone wanted to let Ayton leave and have an even worse/thinner team rather than pay him.
No one backed let him go for nothing, if the team had traded him for KD without another current starter going out (Crowder is not), having CP, Booker, Mikal, KD, Center by committee and Cam J from the bench would not be hilarious at all.

Given that Brooklyn apparently wanted Ayton (or whatever assets he would create) and Mikal, I'm actually happy that we stayed the course. I value Ayton that much, he should have been almost enough to get us a old, disgruntled, injury concern KD.
People actually were backing him leaving for nothing, especially when it was clear there was going to be an offer sheet from Indiana.
What people?

Really? They did? Everyone?
I seem to recall some of us were for matching, and one of use was for matching and giving him a parade......
Haha, no, we've had enough parades without a championship to last me a lifetime. Even a parade at the airport after winning the second around? Please no more parades until we win it all!

Still will argue by far our biggest need is a real spark plug PG backing CP...bite the bullet and get Mike Conley off the Jazz...would change the entire complexion of this team, IMHO...

I dunno I think like the finals last year this game exposed more than our bench depth... We have trouble playing against teams that shoot lots of threes.

We need to fix that to beat warriors in play-offs

If Utah is willing to do it for simply salary relief. Could do it for Payne/Craig/Saric, but Utah is already 3 players over the roster limit I believe.

If the suns want Conley they should convince him to work out a buyout. Give up his 14 million guaranteed next year and then sign a 2 year deal with us for the TPMLE. That would pay him 13.2 million over 2 years.

You were getting me all hot and bothered building up with a spark plug backup PG……and then you gave me blue balls with Mike Conley. Great idea, horrible execution

Yeah. There’s a very decent chance Conley is cooked. I’m not opposed to him, but he’s no longer a reliable offensive engine.

We're speaking to a bench PG that can actually play...I think Conley would make a difference...

Again the two halves of your sentence don’t fit.

Conley ain’t it, definitely not for his contract and not for any assets at all. I’d take him if he got bought out, but he’s no “spark plug.” You got the right team just the wrong guard.

Conley at $22.6 million off the bench isn't helping anybody.

Well, in on a 40 minute basis his numbers would be ~18/8 on w/a 40% 3Pt average....soooo...shrug...me thinks ya'll are being myopic. Grant the salary is high...but if that were to put us over...you wouldn't argue that for two years? Really?

He ran out of steam at the end of the year and was bad. I think he’d be great in a bench role. Just can’t play 25+ minutes a game every day anymore.

Funny other option...see if we can snake Mitch McCarron (F for the 36ers, but he had 16 assists last night...soooo) for bench PG and one of Craig Randall with his 9/17 3 pointers as the backup shooting guard? :D

Well, I'm only envisioning him as a bench player...and Chris in my eyes was gassed in the last games in the Dallas series...so...maybe the pair of them make a full PG compliment...shrug...

Further aside, if somebody has $5B to spend to buy the team, they can bloody splurge on a PG for two years if it grossly impacts the chances we finally get a championship...imho...

And if my auntie had balls she’d be my uncle, but she don’t and Conley ain’t lasting 40 minutes and he’s got a huge salary that would require us gutting our already horrible bench even further to acquire

Oh boy 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Although there is truth in the fact that people who are always hating/trying to pull down others are usually just unhappy with their own circumstances
I didn't really like when Bron said it, had a bit of I'm a King (rich) while y'all live your (poor) miserable lives type vibe to it

Either way, long story short
Don't know if it's a good thing or not that Book paying attention to all the noise but again just the latest thing that people gonna be all over him about
Oh well

I don't get it. Big whoop. Only a small amount of people pay attention to that garbage anyway. I couldn't care less.
