It may not even involve sending Crowder because I think the Magic might just want an expiring contract, but my new hope is to land Mo Bamba and RJ Hampton with sending a first rounder to Orlando.
Would you play Mo Bamba over Biyombo and Landale?
Bamba gives you defense and the occasional three.
Landale's play has been uneven and Biyombo can't throw the ball in the ocean outside of five feet...
That’s a big yes for me too although we still would need a serious difference maker

Bamba is good, I’d definitely play him over any of our backup bigs

Okay someone send the police over to this guys house, someone has clearly murdered him and is now posting on his behalf just taunting us by offering to trade first round picks instead of trade FOR first round picks

Bamba barely solves any of our issues. Backup C is the least of our worries right now.

Thank you. Don't mind saucy and his Landale-colored hatred. He's got to pick somebody every year.

I like Atlanta as a partner. Something along the lines of Bogdan and Jalen Johnson for Jae and Landry (plus seconds?) is appealing.

If it wasn’t for Jack we’d be 40-0 right now

Bogdan hasn’t played yet this year has he? Who knows if he’ll be any good coming off a major injury

He’s playing now, he’s been very good.

18/3/2, shooting 39% from 3 on nearly 10 3s a game.

Why would ATL do that deal? They give up better players and don't save much money.

I don't make that move to address some backup center need. I don't think that is a need. I make that move for the player and his skillset. To have a big that is a good 3-point shooter AND rebounds/blocks shots is absolutely gold. Add to that Bamba's youth and very reasonable contract, he becomes a tremendous value-add. Plus, I think we can play him in stretches with Ayton, and he would give us an option to run a 5-out lineup.

I'm familiar with his game, but you're giving me his pre-draft scouting report ("Gold, Jerry! Gold") and ignoring the last 4+ year's of production. He's turned into a decent player, but we have a short window to make a few moves with a championship in mind and I don't think he's worth using any of our limited assets on.

Also, the Bamba-WCJ lineups, which ostensibly would work better than Bamba-Ayton lineups (WCJ is a better floor-spacer than DA) have struggled badly.

Really need to stop thinking this team is in a championship window because it's not.

I mostly agree with you, but I think there’s a slight crack open. It would probably take a couple all in moves and all 4 of our tradable 1sts, but I think we could open up a small window if we wanted. The question is whether that’s smart to do. I don’t think the current team has a title chance.

Who's Jack? I don't think Jarret Jack is hurting them from the bench.

I do not believe it would be smart to go all in now, should've done it after Bucks fiasco, it's over now, Paul is washed and without high level PG play I don't think this offense works well.

It’s also not just about us. There’s no 2017 Warriors out there. We may not be in the top tier of contenders, but we’re not that far away from it. Honestly, the alternative is too depressing to think about.

I don’t think making small moves on the periphery makes sense…say like throwing a first at Eric Gordon. That’s just wasting a pick. I think going after someone like Kuzma makes sense though. He’s still young enough to be apart of the future.

Bojan is a guy I think could help this team quite a bit, but he’s also not making us a contender and is entering his mid 30s. He’d likely be a short sighted move that doesn’t pay off. Now if we can get him for like Crowder and a couple 2nds, sure let’s do it, but giving up 1sts for him seems like a bad idea.

The KD stuff is out of the question at this point. Brooklyn is probably better than us now anyways. He’s not being moved. I honestly have no idea what Toronto thinks of Siakam but if they continue to struggle and want to build around Barnes and sell high on Pascal, I’d go all in on him. I doubt Toronto would be leaning that way though.

Not sure who else would constitute an all in move that would even be feasible. Most likely nothing will materialize. I hope we make a move just to shake things up and make this season more enjoyable, but I do think we need to be careful. Focus more on guys like Kuzma and not on Bojan. I’d be very wary of adding more than 1 first.
