Three blowouts in a week's time. More injuries piling up. I realize it's only December but waiting until the trade deadline to start to fix this may be too late.

I didn't even know we played tonight. Such a shame we got beat by such a lowly team. It's only fitting with the trajectory we've been on. Is this 5 in a row now?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Not good. He already rushed back too soon the first time and this is the same ankle and it looked pretty bad.

Just got home and checked the box score…Mikal is 3/22? WTF is happening haha
This team is injured from playing with a depleted roster since almost day 1. The players who aren't hurt are gassed. And I don't know what CP is but it's not good.
OKC-era Raymond Felton?

I can accept not winning games if you're short-handed. I don't think anyone expected them to beat Boston the way the Celtics are playing.

But losing games because you come out with a poor effort and keep falling behind in the first half is just unacceptable. After losing at home to Houston, you would think they would come out with some sort of intensity hoping to get that game back in Houston. But they responded with perhaps their worst "effort" of the year.

This is on the players for not being ready to play, and on the coaching staff for not having them ready and not doing anything to shake things up.

You can also point the finger at James Jones for not fixing two glaring deficiencies during the offseason - getting a PF who can defend and rebound and getting another player who can create on offense.

I didn't necessarily think the effort was poor to start the game. We were just missing shots. Mikal's probably pressing knowing he's got to be a shotmaker. That's not a normal shooting night he had. Same for DA. Shots were rimming out, teams are collapsing on him because we don't have anyone on the perimeter.

We're beaten up right now, which happens to teams during the year. We started off well enough, now we're in a lull. We're not as bad as we've looked, we're fine if we're healthy. Still need roster moves, but Jones shouldn't overreact to this stretch IMO.

I turned the game off in the 2nd quarter. I could see how this was going to end.

I tortured myself watching every awful minute of this game. The only positive I can see is Okogie, who is a tough MFer and plays amazing defense. That play where he stuffed Martin Jr, blazed down the court and dunked it was awesome. Otherwise this game was a complete turd. 5 losses in a row. Even this depleted we should be able to beat these shitty ass Rockets. They don't even want to win! They're tanking for Wemby!

Bridges's shooting was atrocious. I don't think of him as a pure shooter, but get a little bunny shot, a layup, a floater, something.

There's this recurring problem where the team starts to kind of miss every shot and you can just feel them all collectively tense up. The most glaring example was the Mavs Game 7 collapse, but we've seen it in several of these losses the past week or two. You see the team lose their confidence and kind of just accept that they're going to lose. They just can't do that. I worry that it starts at the top with CP3 and to some degree Book, where they don't have that "get mad and go get a bucket" gene to just stop a run and steady the team. And we don't have a lot of tough MFers on the roster who can get through a rough spell like that.

I don't want to panic, but the last 6-7 games have been a real gut punch.

Just a couple years ago we seemed a lot tougher mentally and we used to win games even when we couldn't shoot. What happened?

Tell that to their team. They just beat the Bucks in their previous game.

My only complaint is that he had some really bad fouls. Part of being a great defensive player is not committing terrible fouls.

I really hope Okogie stays in the gym. He is really close to fixing his offense enough to be a regular rotation player.

Love that you already made him your avi. His awesome block/dunk play was one of the best Suns highlights of the season so far.

A player who’s a rotation player with a value contract. Can’t be too good of a player though, definitely not a top 3 on a team. More like high value at the 8th spot really gets INFs hairs on his arms standing
